So it’s goodbye League One, we’ll be back, at some point anyway. Was trying to think of some of the best moments of our stay in League One in terms of matches since 2016/17. A few moments stand out for me: Our 6-0 win away at Northampton, what a game that was, the most emphatic Rovers win since we thrashed Alfreton 7-0 at home in non league. Ellis Harrison was immense that day. Ipswich 1-2 Bristol Rovers. Obviously the events after this marred the occasion, however we were at the zenith of Coughlan ball at this point, near the top of the table. To grab a win at a place like Portman Road was huge. Bristol Rovers 4-2 Southend. My personal favourite home game since we got promoted to League One, we were dreadful for the first 35 minutes, culminating in us trailing 2-0 at the break. Came out the second half a different team and in the second 45 minutes of football romped home to a 4-2 win. Bristol Rovers 3-4 Millwall. Ok, we lost this one, but I remember it as a really entertaining game of football, packed to the rafters mem with a great atmosphere and a warm, sunny day. Got to applaud the players after for a competitive, hard fought first season back in the third tier too. Special mentions to the 3-3 MK away draw, 4-1 Cov Boxing Day win and 5-0 Northampton home victory. Sorry if I’ve missed something obvious What’s everyone’s best moments?

The Millwall defeat was a very strange one, I left the ground completely thrilled with the game I had just witnessed yet we were on the losing side. It really was a fantastic game between two very decent sides. Their late late winner secured them a play off position (I believe on goal difference) and saw them eventually Promoted to the Championship. We scored some great goals that day, through Lines, Easter and a stunning Bodin free kick.
My away pick would also be the 6-0 hammering of Northampton, anyone present that day will tell you it could have been 10, very easily!

Off the top of my head and first reaction: ...Week in January 17 when we beat Northampton 5-1, Ellis 4 goals and the next weekend Swindon 1-0. Stuart S was so good in that Swindon match. Then it went wrong. ...Ipswich away December 19 until about 5.00. Downhill since.
UTG!

Steve Morrison.Top striker. We could have done with him this season. Just seen he is Cardiff's under 23 coach.

The introduction of the premium sausage roll was pretty memorable.... Best post of this miserable day! I was actually trying to think of the games that I'd remembered.... But nothing came close compred to the experience of biting into a warm succulent sweet sausage meat, seasoned to perfection, surrounded with moist, yet flaky pastry that melts in your mouth.....
