Funny place this, there people rubbing their hands last year saying we would P?!s the league with player brought in...look at how that turned out.
My point, that most of us know next to nothing about the players, from season to season I recognise very few players watching Rovers in comparison to the players that are on Sky and BT every week.
Harvey will hopefully turn out to be a good signing, but I will reserve saying either way until ive seen him play a few games in a Rovers shirt.

Good luck to the lad...but must say no evidence so far to suggest that Joey is building a side destined for automatic promotion at first time of asking. That’s because we haven’t played a game though isn’t it ? The evidence on how well we do this season is surely based on how well we do ? Absolutely, I called it wrong with last years signings, so yep, we need to wait and see as they say in the investment world 'past performance may not be indicative of future results'.

Was expecting so much more from this window. Wish the boys luck of course but losing interest in Joey and his mates... As a league 2 club we have mostly signed players from league one standard. Thats not too bad surely ? If last season we had signed championship experiencdd players we might have done better perhaps (?) We are league two....dont overlook this and judge as if going for league one promotion.

I cant say I know too much about this lad but sounds like an older version of James Daly. Runs around a lot without scoring.

This looks like a decent signing in my eyes. The sort of wholehearted player the fans can really get behind. Tenacious, quick, works his socks off. He certainly has potential, can score with either foot and good in the air. The sort of player we should of signed last season. I think he will be a popular player with the fans, who will be pleasantly surprised, more like a Bristol rovers type player.

Isn't it funny how when Widdrington was signing players he knew and worked with at Coventry he was incompetent and stealing a living, but when our Dear Leader does it from Fleetwood, people are more accommodating and happy to accept he can get a tune out of them. I don't get this cult of Barton at all. Made a similar point earlier but happens all over doesn’t it? Managers trust players they know and I suppose JB wants to surround himself with players like that. Not surprising, just hope it works. UTG!

Personally I expect another signing today (Collins) and a "marquee" striker to come in when they've seen all their options (Cambridge lad maybe) Not ITK, just guessing.

Doesn’t most managers when they go to new clubs tend to bring in players they know & trust, remember Darrell Clarke bringing a few players from his former club Salisbury to the club which didn’t work out too bad & even over the dark side Pearson has just signed Matty James who he had with him when he was manager of Leicester.

I was wondering where the vulcan death grip or mind melting sat in the games rules. We certainly had to search for Max Ehmer and the defence last season. ...and still never found them. 😉 UTG!

We need strikers but those with goals are the hardest to get or persuade to join us within the financial constraints we may may be working within and it’s League 2. Going to need a golden tongue to persuade the better players to come here but this lad and perhaps Collins might take a bit of pressure off JB and I’d still expect a striker later on. Perhaps once they see what offers are coming in. UTG!

Always worries me when new players talk of excitement as if it’s the biggest club they’ve played for. I’d rather they didn’t because they’ve been elsewhere at similar or bigger clubs. Kind of indicates a more experienced player.
Still, welcome to the club, I hope you prove yourself.

I agree , add to that this boy has worked outside of football and knows what a privellege it is to be a pro footballer suggests he will work hard to stay there. As they say in the Boxing world "a Hungry fighter is a better fighter"
