It could go either way for Swindon this season. I see Power has been ordered by the court to sell his shares to an Australian businessman and it appears as though they won’t be going into administration. In the current climate, I suspect the EFL are not in the mood to look under too many rocks and dish out points deductions, but I could be proved wrong. The various trials and tribulations of Rovers ownership over the years seems like little league when compared to Swindon, whose approach always seems to be to fly by the seat of their pants.
Wasn’t Lee Power rumoured to be sniffing around Rovers before the Al Qadi takeover? We dodged a bullet there, if so.

On that point Derby are still waiting to see if they are to be deducted points for some irregularities last season which would mean their relegation to L1 (Rooney suggesting he may resign his position if that happens) and Wycscum staying in the Championship. They have even been given an “interchangeable” set of fixtures with Wycscum depending on who stays where. what a way to run a circus…. (And no - I don’t begin to understand it🤪)

No, that was the the other guy eventually bought Worcester Warriors, think he fell out with Power and, possibly, lost a court case over Swindon's ownership in a dispute with Power.

Do mods have the capability to spot if his is a duplicate account from one of the Swiss, Fanatical, Knowall crew? No, not really unfortunately. I mean, if its really obvious we can from the email address or username sometimes. There is a built in spam checker on Proboards too which every new account is subjected prior to approval. If there is a way to weed out liars, I'd love to know! Assuming you can see IP Addresses unless Swiss/Knowall uses VPN's themselves then you can see if they match/where they are located in the world? Although the fact those two haven't denied the WUM is connected to them tells it's own story. It seems the same poster started a new account on the other forum and that's also now been delated, it's all a bit odd. Perhaps it's just Carlts2020/BG becoming more and more annoyed with Wael as he sits twiddling his thumbs at home!

(And no - I don’t begin to understand it🤪) Yes, I mentioned this earlier but as ever the EFL leave everything so late that it’s almost impossible to relegate Derby now without engulfing themselves in law suits etc. I sometimes wonder if they do this on purpose just to be able to say “well, it’s too late to do anything now.” I think Derby will more likely be made to pay compensation to Wycombe for the loss of income that comes from playing in League 1 instead of the Championship. As usual, it’s been more or less kicked into the long grass and a decision will be made on a slow news day I expect. UTG!

Many years ago under Glen Hoddle they got demoted by three divisions I think it was for some sort of financial irregularities.Anyway ,I'm having a good day.Moved to Devon in Feb and been constantly pestered by British Gas to pay bill after bill. Not even with them and now transpires the money owed was not me.Full apology and refund and a token compensation received today so feeling smug. Swindon fan here you're sort of right we were demoted two divisions from the old 1st division to the 3rd but it was 1990 under Ozzie Ardilles. On appeal we were then reinstated to the old second division so we're only demoted one league. As for us in a mess that's dead true but there could be light at the end of the tunnel by next Thursday and expect McGreal to re-sign under a new owner.

Sorry Banned word of a club! I remember having to pay twice following the rain affected game! Lee Power is an arse! Spot on you were treated badly the same as us non season ticket holders when the game was called off believe it or not many Swindon fans were in agreement with you and there were many post in support of your fans and we've always known Power is crook and a robbing bas***d.

Not the fans or clubs fault. Without them we wouldn't have had some cracking games against them. It's the crook in charge that needs to suffer

Is it more likely that the FA will be imposing fines on the individuals or is there still a threat of the EFL imposing a points deduction? I read that the court ordering the sale of shares to Axis would mean the club would be kept out of administration, but is Power appealing the decision?

We dont know anymore than you have quoted and at the moment it dosen't like the club will face any points deduction. Rumours are Power has agreed to sell ans it will be finalised this week but with that rogue you just can't tell as he hasn't done any interviews or months.

The title of this thread now seems the opposite of what is really the case, as it seems Swindle are about to be taken over by Clem Morfuni, the founder of Axis Group, a multi-national building services contractor that was involved in the construction of new Wembley and the new Spurs stadium.
What's the betting Swindle now get a new stadium whilst we're still wondering if the FM site will ever by purchased?
