I think Joey needs to take the '24 year olds only' filter off of his search crteria, we must be missing out, only signing players who fit that. If players aren't good enough by time they 24 then they never will be.

Joey Barton has without doubt done a great job so far at balancing the squad up between attacking and defending. I am still hoping we will see a couple of right backs to enable us to play four at the back and also a centre forward who can score goals-if we get this I feel we will have the most exciting team we have had for years.. I honestly feel that only Annsi and Nicholson will be good enough for a starting place by the time the season starts. Hanlan may also be in the running for a start. It is very noticeable that JB has added a lot of pace and experience to the side which we sadly lacked last season. I see at least two more signings who will start in the first game and there will only be a few spaces in the squad for last seasons players which is good. It's great to have pace down the wings, as long as the strikers also have the pace to meet the crosses into the box.

Averages about 5/6 goals a season and 4/5 assists so I wouldn't quite go that far. Should help ensure we are competitive though which has to be the initial aim next season. Stats for Ayunga and Hanlan? That's not wanting to start an argument, genuinely interested. Done a bit of a sweep as gawd knows where this lot are playing coming the start of the new system. They have signed some tidy forward players too like Hawkins, Oates and Johnson. Our defence will be tested, although so will theirs.

I dont know a great deal about the new guys up front but from what information ive collected, we still dont seem to have one who is known for being good in the air?

How nice would it be to have a striker good in the air again. When was the last ..Ellis possibly, before that Lambert??! Not many

Harry commands a lot of respect from the Lincoln fans, so looks a very good signing for us. This season, we seem to have a few quickies in the squad.

With Luke Thomas and Sam Nicholson does this mean we are genuinely looking at strength in depth on the flanks? Just wondering how they fit in. In my mind we are just short of a right back and a more experienced front man from a first choice starting XI, plus one or two more as cover. Maybe Nicholson will play in the midle?
