Prefer a darker blue but at least we have white shorts. Not quarters though is it as I understand them but the back ok. Why such a big sponsor band? Looks a bit similar to 2006/07, similar blue and that went ok. Season getting closer with this release.👍
UTG!

Whether or not we like the kit, you have to say our promotional videos for the kit releases the last few years have been brilliant, I remember the days when our kit launch would be a couple of players stood infront of the goal! Our strikers gave up doing that 18 months ago.

Some people will buy it regardless of course, but how much are we going to miss out on from those that will only buy it if it looked decent?
Even the shade of blue being researched with fans would have been a start, as I suspect the majority don't like the lighter blue?
Market research is key although these shirt manufacturers these days seem to think they can knock out any old sh**e and it's job done.

Awful Time the name numbers and badges get put on is it a quarter shirt at all.may as well just had a blue background. It looks like a shirt the sponsor gives their workforce to wear.lets hope not too many have been ordered Thus starving the club of crucial income. What a ridiculous comment.

Won’t be buying, I mean, where do you start?
The club should consult the fans next time

I'm glad that it has the quarters on the back, but the sponsors name is far to big. It looks like it is on a sash and has been stuck on with glue. As for the colour, well it's blue

Meh, having looked at the pics on the club shop site, I don't mind it. It's not a patch on the 99-00 kit that it's calling back to, but nice bit of nostalgia nonetheless and I like that the designers have tried to mix it up a bit, without completely throwing our identity out of the window.

The Football Association clothing regulations state the following:
That the name of sponsors can appear in a single area not exceeding 200 square centimeters on the front of the shirt That the name of the sponsor can appear in an area not exceeding 100 square centimeters That the name of the sponsor can appear in an area not exceeding 100 square centimeters on the back of the shorts That the name of the sponsor can appear once only on each sock tie-up in an area not exceeding 100 square centimeters
someone buy one and measure it!!

The black lines kill it for me along with the side bit, it's too much. Yeah black lines are the worst thing on it for me too. No need. Last seasons was far better We're going for a Bath Rugby look. I like the black bits actually.

TBF, I am assuming that Wael and his Marketing guys have pulled of a bit of a result by charging the sponsor a lot more than normal by having such a big space on the shirt and including a strap line also. F1 has been doing it for years the bigger the space the more information the more it costs. Selling your soul I know, but you have to fund 10,11,12 players somehow. It is also a talking point and will be on the TV next season. We are now upto 11 pages ourselves in the last couple of hours.

Eco shirt part of a diversity campaign
The photographer mentions that the shirt is made from recycled materials and is eco friendly and the Video is part of a wider diversity campaign. Thumbs up Rovers!

The club should consult the fans next time Tg: “What would you like next season?” supporter: “I’d like it to be a bit like a retro kit, maybe 99/00 or a season we got promoted in. I don’t want a solid blue back, I want proper quarters. I don’t want the sponsor too far down because I like to tuck my shirt in. For gods sake, no red on the shirt like in 13/14. Oh and can you mix it up a little as I’m bored of it just being blue and white quarters.” tg: “Ta da” supporters : “don’t like it”

I would normally never entertain the idea of purchasing a replica shirt as I don't wear them, but this shirt just looks so odd I'm finding myself wanting to buy it!

According to Google 200 sq CM's is 30 sq inches, so on a size 30 inch shirt it should only be approx 2 inches high, which seems similar to most other clubs shirts including ours last season? Perhaps the shirt we actually play in will have a smaller add?

Ridiculous - Who does that then ? - Ask 100 people get 100 different answers I'd imagine at least 75 people would say "why do we need the advert on the front to be so big/dominant?" well they paid for it
