Barry Hayles late winner against Brentford to get us in the playoffs. I was sitting next to a heavily pregnant woman who got so excited I am amazed she didn't give birth there and then.

Gas related-lambo at Hartlepool away-the greatest away day ever for me.
Non Gas, being at Wembley when we beat the Germans the other week.

Being in an automatic promotion place under Graham Coughlan (albeit briefly), was a fantastic achievement and a real endorsement of the character there was in that squad.
Shame it was all thrown away.

The Junior Agogo equaliser Vs Yeovil in that 2-2 epic around 2003/04. That was an atmosphere that has rarely been replicated since, for sheer anger AND elation. Rest In Peace Junior.

Random one, but when Astafjevs and Wayne Carlisle scored in the last few minutes against Scunthorpe to win 2-1, back in 2002/03 I think. We were woeful that year, and Scunthorpe were flying high. We still looked dead certs for the drop until a certain Mr. Rammell saved the day! Speaking of which, his goals against Cambridge, Oxford and Darlington were real highlights for me.

Thanks for posting. It certainly was a crazy night. What should’ve been a straight red for Gavin Williams, saw us down to 9 men within the next few minutes! Those were dark days for sure, our continued downward spiral after 3 years of misery & the glovers coming into the football league where we could not lay a glove on them in our first handful of meetings. A superb fightback but one that certainly papered over the cracks for one night at least.
