Yes injured as is Sam Matthews. Amazing isn’t it, and the old warhorse Millwall Tone is still going strong 👍 I hope he gets a good reception today, I’m sure he will.

I can’t make it today, the last game I missed was the 3-4 win against Shrewsbury away, so here’s hoping for a similar result (as in Rovers winning obviously 🙄) Give Tony Craig a cheer from me UTG

I’m hoping for a morale boosting comfortable win and a cheerful forum before starting a sabbatical

I like him very complimentary has never met GGMI 😂😂 I'm joking Yes that was great, very likable guy and as you said very complimentary about the Gasheads and also about "under rated" Joey Barton Hoping we don't "light the blue touch paper" today - lets hope we do and start a great run

Today is gonna be a good day, I think we will look back on Barrow las week as our ‘Braintree’ moment an th season starts here, th play has been better, th signings are done, an th lads I believe are up for it.
Some come on Gas, get th points an let’s start climbing up that table. I genuinely believe we have th team an th backing ta do it 💪🏻

Should certainly be a Gas win given against a depleted Crawley side. I'd expect a 2 goal margin to the Gas. Really must keep up the momentum from the midweek performance. Anything less than 3 points would be a big disappointment given the hope that we have turned the corner results-wise.

Crawley are ravaged by injuries at the moment so this should be a very winnable game but as we all know that’s never the case with rovers. John yems the Crawley manager had loads of good things to say about rovers pre match. Find the bloke hilarious in some of the interviews he gives. Miserable as can be but still so funny. Was hoping for a 10-0 rovers victory today to get our goal difference looking healthy. But...for 3 things. 1 Wouldnt want TC on the end of that kind of hammering. 2 the manager was very complimentary about the club players staff and fans so couldnt do that to him. 3 Reality. Happy with a 1-0 rovers victory.

Predicting a comfortable win today, maybe 2-0 or 3-0, followed by the “we beat a very poor Crawley side” comments

John yems the Crawley manager had loads of good things to say about rovers pre match. Find the bloke hilarious in some of the interviews he gives. Miserable as can be but still so funny. Going by his interview, sounds like they are in a mess due to injuries. We have to take advantage of this and win the game. If we end up losing this game, I may have to disappear for a few days so I don't react with raw emotions. Someone else said if we get an early goal we should win this and I agree. The issues Crawley have, if we get an early goal, we could end up get a couple more. If Crawley score first, they will make it so difficult for us. So the first goal will be massive in this game today. Their manager is fully aware (as would TC would be) what our fans are able to do, so they will try to frustrate the fans. I expect to see Crawley try to stop the game as many times as possible for as long as possible to break the play/momentum so stop the fans building any atmosphere up. The ref's stats shows he is whistle happy as well so that won't help. Averaging 24.5 fouls per game in his 5 games so far.
A win would be great. A defeat would be terrible. A draw I feel won't be that great but as long as the performance is there, would still be progression.
Head says draw, heart says win and my prayers are hoping not for the other alternative.

If it were up to me I would start with virtually the same line up as started Tuesday, those lads gave us some much needed joy as supporters regardless of the opposition and need to be encouraged to do it again, PS I know that this is unlikely to happen but I feel on this occasion it would be worth a punt? Same team, and strengthen up the bench would be good.
