I think reality is as a Rovers fan and if we owned the club would we have appointed Barton as manager. Only a misguided football groupie could fall into that trap and we have to live with it. Barton had a fair few supporters when he joined us so once again it seems you're spouting nonsense. Leaving aside his off field activities he did seem a decent appointment.

I have always thought Barton the worst thing that has ever happened to our club, even worse than losing our league status. I always thought DC was a bit of a useless blowhard without an ounce of class and was the worst manager we’ve ever had…but of the two, DC looks like a cross between Alf Ramsey and Alex Ferguson and Barton a novice who shouldn’t be coaching anyone. Barton IS the worst manager we’ve ever had, his stats prove it, I can’t be bothered to research if he is the worst manager in the history of football anywhere in the world who has retained his position but I have a sneaky feeling he probably is. Anyone who doesn’t back the Barton Out movement has to question their allegiance to our once great club because you certainly don’t wish us well. What "Barton out movement" where does that exist, just in your bedroom?

Not sure who horfield wanted us to appoint as I doubt there would have been many quality managers that wanted to join a struggling club in a ramshackle stadium who were attempting to appoint their 3rd full time manager in a season.

Can realistically see only 9 or 10 points (if we're lucky) from our next 13 games. Leyton Orient, Walsall, Swindon, Carlisle, Bradford, Colchester, Newport, Harrogate, Northampton, Tranmere, Salford, Forest Green and Port Vale. 13 unlucky for some? Very pessimistic, Pirate.

Very pessimistic, Pirate. That's your perception. Surely we've either got to improve or Barton gets the boot before we complete that set of games? When's his first trial, November, not sure we can wait that long! Next week could be a repeat of last season's Fleetwood match.

Next week could be a repeat of last season's Fleetwood match. Things could get very ugly and toxic with that run of games and if we continue our awful start for much longer. Orient must be rubbing their hands for next Saturday.

I think there are some useful players in this squad, but we certainly wont do anything if Hughes and Anderton are starting in this team

All I can see is a number of posts unhappy with our performance yesterday, including my own, there's few posts demanding that Wael sacks Barton. I sense most posters are content for Barton to remain our manager until at least 5pm next Saturday.

What I can't understand is why virtually every player we've signed since GC quit doesn't seem to give have any interest in performing once they've joined us? Probably only Leahy, Nicholson, Taylor and Belshaw have played anywhere near their form at their previous clubs. What goes on once they've turned up for training on the first day? Do they see life at Rovers as just a meal ticket for a season or two, or can't stand they stand the set up /living in Bristol and just want to leave, as surely the last 3 managers can't all have been totally useless?

I always thought JB played players in form and in the correct positions. Hughes not in form. Grant RB, Saunders LWB. Unfortunately I couldn't watch the game, but sounded dreadful again with mistakes and lack of scoring opportunities plus the injuries. Sounds all too familiar.
I'm just going sit back and just hope our season sorts itself out and turns around 😆

Plenty of sh**, hence 21st in League Two. Just pondering that. So Barton has taken us from above above the relegation zone in L1, to 21st in L2. f**k me, give the man a medal.

No words do it justice to describe how sh** his tenure has been. As if the pathetic relegation wasn't bad enough we are now 21st in League Two with the joint 4th worst goals against and the joint 2nd worst goals scored. Can only see things getting worst with some tough looking fixtures (aren't they all now?) over the next 12 or 13 games.
