I suppose it's hard to stay in touch with the general feeling when you are miles away watching on ifollow in your Jordanian ivory tower.

Is it just me who’s thinking that everyone is reading far too much into that tweet? I didn’t see it as a dig at anyone, just a light hearted joke. Everyone is sensitive as they see us sleep walking into a relegation, we ve never replaced matty T and we are still suffering as a result. Yeah, and I do get that. Another example is that as I left the ground, stewards and police were trying to stop people walking across the car park to the far exit, but everyone was so totally f*€ked off with what they’d just seen that they just pushed on past and gave the stewards an earful. I think we’re all definitely more sensitive, tetchy and pi&£ed off than usual.

I think they wanted to clear the way for Orient fans leaving, plus there were a few of our GHS under 12s division hanging around by the looks of it.

Oh come on, we all know we're in trouble, can't Wael join in with his concerns? He could do something about it. Like?

He could do something about it. Like? I dunno, quote a more upbeat song. Louise by the Human League? Don't Tell Me by Blancmange? Sack Barton.

The first thing I thought of was “hang the DJ” but you would only get it if you had any music knowledge or were a smiths fan.
Poor form? Not really, just people reading into it a lot more than actually is.
If I was to play a song right now it would be Englebert Humperdink. Please release me let me go.

To be fair to the poster that was criticising, he pays his money and is entitled to his opinion, he probably wasn't aware than Lance does it for free which given that context probably changes the way you look at it. I obviously understand Lance getting offended by it though.

Pirate I have only met Wael once at a sponsors event but he is a big a fan as us, he is in love clearly with the Gas, and will be hurting as much as us, probably more as he sanctions the big decisions and finances them. He needs to get the appointment spot on next time, john Coleman is the only manager I would think was a safe bet in our price range.

Probably ill advised for the owner to make snidey comments directed at fans when you've already been criticised the same season for ill informed and crass statements previously and your football club recently relegated and currently struggling at the bottom of the entire football league with seemingly clueless leadership at boardroom and football management level.

As in love with us as would have been Gillingham if Paul Scallywag had accepted his offer for the Gills before approaching us.

I haven't seen anything from Lance in response? Did he reply. Weather the comment was just a light hearted joke from Wael with the situation the club is in I don't think many people are going to read it that way.
