Not been to a game since the charge was announced, not particularly missing it, it sounds bloody dreadful. I look forward to people moaning about my personal choice. If found not guilty, will you come back?

I'm going! I'm a Gashead, no matter what! We are all gasheads, but some of us do not want to be represented by this absolute plank of a human being. You may have lower standards, your call. But please stop inferring that we are not supporters, when the absolute opposite is the case.

Not boycotting. But 150 mile round trip for dreadful football so simply can't be bothered. Not a boycott simply don't enjoy watching my team this season-or most of last.Facilities are dire so have to agree with Oldie. At Beer Albion tomorrow where the subs will be linesmen ,I will pay £2 which includes a programme and raffle,be under cover and enjoy their plush new clubhouse and the best view from any football club. I’ll be there it’s the gas I know everyone feels it’s the worst team ever but as a gas head for over sixty years I can assure newer gas heads we have had many sh** teams over the years So nothing new just when you think we have a team that’s going to achieve great things they sell the best -layers blame the manger sack him get a Barton in and start all over again.

Not quite true. Has the club ever employed someone like Barton? Ever?

It's not about the team playing poorly...I went to every home game when we were relegated to the Conference. It's about having a convicted criminal as a manager. His charge sheet is horrendous and how he has two more to possibly add to it. For a club to so-called be a community team and recently signed up to an anti sexism group and have the possibility of a wife-beating manager it goes against everything I believe in to have this thug as a manager. Now add to that the fact that his pre and post match interviews are just fantasy and unreal and the fact that his ability to manage a team are suspect to say the least. We need rid of him now before he divides this club any further.

Yet we have had plenty of players with very dubious criminal records that we've all worshipped on a Saturday over the years, uuum ! I'll be there, 50 mile round trip when tomorrow I could just step out my door for a top of the table league 2 clash, Rovers til I die !

I get that he's not the nicest Guy in the World but he's not the reason I turn up, or not. Shame you and so many others are of that opinion, especially now when more than ever, the Team need us to get behind them. It's not their fault he's here. Keep the support going chap.

To be honest I don't really care what anyone else thinks, there's an odd one-upmanship on this thread that seems to be very one sided. No one who isn't attending/boycotting/whatever you want to call it is asking others to join them, it's just something they've decided. A personal choice. I don't really give a sh** if anyone thinks I'm less of a fan because, if you go to Rovers to seem like a superfan you're missing the point. I've barely posted on either forum this season, don't post on twitter about Rovers at the moment and have zero opinion on any players because I've not seen them. It's just a shame some folk can't show a bit of respect for those that have decided it's not for them. Don't show me any respect though guys, I literally couldn't give a crap.

It's called having principles. I detest everything Barton stands for. I just want him out of this club.

I'm not sure anyone has accused anyone of being less of a fan for not going, I certainly haven't. I've not gone for a game or two purely because it was raining and I've done my time doing that and didn't fancy doing it again. If you don't want to go, that's a choice you've made, fair enough. Just a shame that because of one man you made it.

I think the whole Barton situation is a visible illustration of what an absolute shitfest every element of the club has been for the last three years. It's equal parts hilarious and galling that the owner and his employees are tanking the business. The fact Barton has received this level of backing just shows the club has last any sense of reality. Now we have the manager aimlessly spouting voxpops about mountains and religion while the owner continues to sit on his hands. It's beyond parody.

He's been and still is a disaster of a Manager.

I am dead against JB. I want him gone asap. But I will be there tomorrow. I will be supporting the players not the fraudulent manager. However, I certainly understand those who choose to stay away due to JB or due to the water poor performances or for both reasons, especially if you are travelling from afar. Fair play to you all for making the decision to stay away because I know I couldn't be an easy decision to make. If I lived further away or was going on my own, I would do the same. But I go with a group and enjoy the other things that go with it, such as pre and post match drinks/food. The football is the only thing that ruins the day.
I am dreading it tomorrow. I am sure I will say to myself during and after the game "why do I bother" and convince myself not to go again but then still end up going again!

The fact this is even a thread is worrying. Our average attendance this season is lower than every post-Conference season, that's despite having two games out of four that should be well attended in the first home fixture and Swindon. I think this weekend could see the attendance dip bellow 6,000, money talks.
