we have nothing to lose but plenty to gain ,we will be expected to lose ,if we get some kind of a result teams in l2 may be wary of us and change there normal for mation which could give us a edge

Unlikely to show a L1 v L2 game, Rovers v Oxford would have been more likely.

At least we should take a full away following, should get around 2300 tickets and we always take decent numbers. And the laughable HTV west stating that yate could be playing a “local derby” against Yeovil if they both win, since when has it been local derby when your over 50 miles apart 🙄

Not really a derby but both teams are in the HTV west region.
I hope it does happen. Would be great for Yate and a chance of being on tv.

Sorry if this is an unpopular opinion but I’d have rather us drawn a non league team. Just a higher chance of being on TV and the toughness is a bit overstated, last time it happened we ended up beating Darlington 6-0, an away trip to a good L1 will be harder.

I get your point axegas but we are in a nose lose situation as regards positivity about the place. Losing to a non league team would be a real hammer blow and create more negativity with Barton etc. Oxford is a free shot, we're not expected to go through, if we lose so be it.

A “nose lose situation”?! I know it can get a bit feisty at Oxford but was hoping it wouldn’t be that bad! 😁
