Lost 6-2 against Concord Rangers in the FA Trophy tonight.
I wonder if their fans are kicking off as much as we were?

I'd imagine that all 354 of them were outraged.

They must have put out a youth team I should think. Or pensioners.

6-2?
Wow that's a spanking in anyone's language and with any team out.
Shame.
Would b better if they stayed in competition and got injuries, fatigue & suspensions.
I smelt a Martin Allen rat. They threw the game.

I recommended a concord player to DC a few months ago. Maybe he should have bought the whole team. We'd probably be friggin' champions by now!

Anyone else uncomfortable laughing at the free scoring runaway league leaders?

Anyone else uncomfortable laughing at the free scoring runaway league leaders? I think it just puts our result into perspective a bit more.

Possibly, but we put out a strong team.
I don't agree with those who say it wasn't our 1st team. Every one of the players we picked has started a 1st team league game this season and some have started or played in many.

Agree it was a "strong" team of first team squad players - but as another thread has been saying there seems not to have been a leader amongst them with the spine of Mildy. McChrystal and Mansell missing. Hopefully DC will have learnt some valuable lessons about the strength of character of the squad and will ensure this is addressed by team selections now, and strengthening in January.

It seems clear to me that Barnet just wanted to get out of the competition.

Every one of the players we picked has started a 1st team league game this season and some have started or played in many. DC did field a strong team, however, he is such a master tactician that he tweaked it in the right places to ensure that we would be defeated without giving the appearance of not treating the competition in a respectful manner.

It seems clear to me that Barnet just wanted to get out of the competition. Odd they waited until last night to play a weakened team, assuming there will be no FA penalty for doing that, perhaps we should have given the likes of Thomas a run out, they couldn't have done much worse!

Anyone else uncomfortable laughing at the free scoring runaway league leaders? can't see anyone laughing at them. They were clever. they saw our result and decided to match it. very, very clever.

They played a relatively strong team on Saturday & were unable to win against ten men, Martin Allen still the answe to all our dreams?
