Well, we took him on knowing he had an outstanding court case. I was in favour, also hoping he would maybe have learned his lesson. And yet here we are, he's picked up another court case since we employed him. Seriously, I'm sure he maybe gets treated differently because of who he is but how hard can it really be for a man of his age to not keep getting arrested? Yeah, I kind of agree....but we have to assume innocence until proven guilty etc. If he is found not guilty again then he (and perhaps we) can breathe a sigh of relief and HOPE that such negative publicity never comes the way of our club again. But given the nature of the case, and that we want women to feel as much a part of the Gas family as men, there can be no room for ambiguity. Any hint of wrong doing in the verdict and he should be gone. I can see it being like the Stendel case. probably found not guilty due to lack of evidence/proof and no one will know how the injuries were caused (but everyone will have an opinion on how)

If he is found not guilty I hope its a really clear and unambiguous result.

I think people there on the night will be tight lipped and therefore no case but also no answers.
So we plod along until the next circus arrives.

I didn't think that'd matter as much this time, with the police surely having bodycam footage, the initial emergency services phone call, and the recent law change to protect domestic abuse victims. As you say though, if not - roll on the next time he can't control his temper.

Good question. It's not so much what I think, more of a hope that the 'older and wiser' part of his character may kick in and he may see this as his last opportunity to build a career as a professional football manager. Wael has shown JB massive trust - I would hope that JB would repay that trust both on and off the pitch. If found not guilty today (?) then I would give him until the end of the season to demonstrate if Waels trust is well-placed...or not. I think we should be thinking outside the confessional box on this one. Psychotic people are what they are. What you see is what you get. They don't get "older and wiser" or "reform", and trust doesn't come into it. That's just making it about Wael through the emotion of guilt. A psychotic will play you for all it's worth then headbutt you in the nose. Nothing's ever his fault and he'll line up scapegoats to take the fall for him.

I think psychotic might be a bit strong, but he's definitely got major anger management issues.

Sorry to be pedantic but your description doesn't fit with psychosis (my area of employment)
