Yeah I’m sure it applies to all public transport , as for Covid passports I’m pretty sure it’s only for crowds of 10,000 + which seems strange as Covid doesn’t only transmit in crowds of 10,000 +. I haven't seen anything on the club website, but the official guidance says passports or some other proof of a negative test must be shown for: -unseated outdoor venues with more than 4,000 people -any venue with more than 10,000 people The Mem has more than 4,000 unseated people on a normal matchday (unless it's a very low crowd) but also has seats. So I have no idea how it might be categorised.... Covid restrictions clear as mud, as ever.

The SC page has listed travel info for Scunthorpe.
Recommend LFT and as a condition of travel with the coach company - no alcohol on official football supporters coaches. (I believe this is a legality from the Maggie Thatcher days).
Will Dave Bright arrange for the superstore at the Mem to be open while some 400 fans are waiting for the coaches?

Would it be viable to bring staff in? Only a proportion of the 400 would be likely to go into the shop, and it would be in a very short timescale, as people only tend to turn up 10 or 15 minutes before departure.

Anybody going on the train, I know it's going to be just as long and a lot dearer than the supporters coach but personally I don't fancy 5 + hours on a bus

As drives go it’s one of the easiest and takes me just about 5-6 hours from here on the south coast, but not going this time. Must be less from Bristol. Safe travel to those that go. UTG!

I have driven to Scunthorpe regularly and it is about 3hrs It looks like the coach leaves Kingsway at 08:15, does a pickup at The Mem and then heads off at 08:45
Google Maps suggests it typically takes between 3 and 4 hours leaving at 08:45am on a Saturday. So it predicts an arrival time of 12:45pm (4hrs.. 4.5 if you boarded the coach at Kingsway) before you consider that coaches are generally slower than cars and there will be a comfort stop on the way.

Anyone know if you can pay on the day? I believe so. That’s what I’m doing. Unless I’m missing something I can’t find where to buy online and I’m not in Bristol.

It feels like the Covid walls are closing in again, only a few weeks after it seemed to be getting back to some sort of normality.
This time last year Christmas was raring to go. A couple of days later Boris cancelled it, except for his staff of course.
Now we have matches being cancelled, masks required. Will we be back to table service in pubs and scanning in via the NHS app again next week? Or even worse? It's moving very fast. So depressing.

Isn't it about time that fans stopped being at each others throats, 90% it is not even about football, actually you have to go half way down the front before there is a discussion on players. Fair enough it is fine to discuss things and have opinions but that doesn't mean you have to slag each other off. Put this on the wrong thread but if you read the reducing mem capacity thread you see what I mean.

They’re closing nightclubs in Wales from 27th so seems inevitable that’s the direction of travel. I don’t have a great deal of hope that I’ll be using my Peterborough tickets and wonder if Scunthorpe might be the last game I go to for a while (assuming it goes ahead). Hoping I’m wrong.

If players don't get their COVID jabs and reduce the spread amongst clubs ,think the players will shut down the league's on there own. There not the brightest and are shooting themselves in the foot.

To be honest I’m a little bit disappointed how a few posters recently have labelled our footballers as ‘not the brightest’ etc. I find it very disrespectful and condescending.
