With Peterborough having had their last 3 games postponed as well, at least both teams will be in the same position with regards to lack of actual match action to sharpen up, if the FA Cup game goes ahead. I'm with you on this one Tilly. I was dreading that Orient game as sure we would have been rusty. It's not ideal prep going into the FA Cup game but Peterborough are in a similar boat and the fact they are the better team, it might be an advantage to us. The only thing I'm not sure about is how much training both teams have done? We seem to have had more Covid than Peterborough so they may have done more training. Bring it on!

"we seem to have had more COVID cases" that's a bit of an understatement when Posh haven't lost one game to COVID in their own camp? They've probably got the luxury of a fully fit squad to choose from unless COVID hits them this week.

I am aware their games have been called off fue to the opposition but they have also had Covid cases of their own.

Please stop raging. I’m not interested in debating it. I’m pretty certain I’ve got an economics degree and a CFA more than you, so perhaps go and do the work learning it and then come back and I’ll debate with you. Until that point, my guess is you’ll post a few things you’ve read online and frankly, I can just go and buy a copy of the Indy or Graun and read it directly. Until then, I’ll just stick with the simplified version of “suck it up” The gulf of Aden is an area of the sea between the east of Africa and the Arabian peninsula which is famous in the modern era for pirates. I can confirm this is a Rovers reference and I’m not currently sat in a speedboat with a rocket launcher off the coast of Somalia. Boasting is a sign of insecurity, GoA. Besides, you don't know posters' backgrounds and neither does it invalidate their opinions or mean they cannot have knowledge on a particular topic. I didn’t say they couldn’t have an opinion. Fair enough, I had a hunch that many people just regurgitate whatever journalist or media outlet they like has said without understanding the complexities of macroeconomics, but perhaps I’m wrong and we can head off to general chat and have a chat about the open market multiplier and the Keynesian consumption function, rather than jibes about blue passports and crowns on pints.

Assuming clubss still have to forfeit ties if they don't go ahead due to COVID then it seems likely it will go ahead, unless Posh also have players missing due to COVID, not sure what happens if neither team can field a side, is it decided by a toss of a coin? I hope not - I don't think our record is too good! P.S. Could the Brexit discussion b*gger off to General Chat - some of us want to talk about football. Fair enough. No football to argue about. I’m off to shout at the wall.

Why does everything have to be an argument?
We should all be able to debate without arguing…. Also I agree with Tilly that the Brexit debate should move to General Chat and stay there - irrespective of your position on Brexit no one really knows how the future will land as there are both advantages and disadvantages to being out of Europe just the same as if we remained in Europe… we can speculate all we like but no one really knows and both sides of the argument lied to us leading up to the vote … we all just need to hope that whatever the outcome that it turns out ok for all of us….
Anyway, fingers crossed the Peterborough game is on and we also do some transfer business early in the window so we all have something different to talk (moan knowing this forum 😂) about
