Not sure having VAR at this stage of the competition does much for its integrity though. Shouldnt be used unless all teams left have it imo.

So we entered our enforced break 7 points I think from the play offs and half a team missing and restart 9 behind with 3 games inhand and a squad rested and many of the injuries cleared.Lucky or well engineered by Jb ? I dont know but I am sure others will have an opinion

I can certainly understand that viewpoint, but on the other hand if the technology is available at some grounds, why not use it? Perhaps it's better to have it where available than not at all?

I'd personally prefer not at all otherwise its not consistent for the competition. Has to be a level playing field for everyone imo rather than some games getting VAR and some open for human error. Its no biggie but irritates me for some reason

But I'd also argue that in terms of a level playing field, I'm not sure whether having VAR at one ground would put us at a disadvantage, because as long as it's a level playing field between each of the two teams facing each other, the fact that other ties have VAR available makes much difference? Still, like I said I could also argue the same point as you, it's a tricky one.

Oh yeah agree 100% that its fair between the two sides playing each other if they have VAR or not, I guess im looking at the competition on the whole really in that some sides may still be in the comp had they had the same benefits others have had. Should be all or nothing really

No way that’s ever given in a typical Rovers league match, the keeper is literally wrestled to the ground. Felt like the ref gave it for the occasion and for the giant killing.

Was happy with a spirited display and came through it injury free until I read Clarke came off with a knock. He’s another one who can’t seem to play more than a few games without getting injured or suspended. 🤦🏼♂️ His Instagram says "Not the result we wanted but more minutes into the legs 👊🏻 we go again next week" - so it doesn't sound as though he's going to be missing any games this time.

Funny enough I just saw that myself it sounds positive doesn’t it tilly. I really want him to get games under his belt now as it will be important he stays fit so our attacking players don’t have to play there as cover.

Just to let you guys know, the latest video is now uploaded of our day following the Gas at London Rd. You can search for awaydaydiaries in YouTube and we would love you to have a quick look. Am sure you will be more interested in the action which is at the back end of the video, and there is plenty of Rovers action at the end of the second half, which you dominated. Still can't see why your goal was disallowed! Remember you don't have to subscribe to watch. We're not Sky Sports by any stretch, but we enjoyed our day and our short time following Rovers. Oh, and by the way, our video now calls you Bristol ROVERS not just Bristol after I had a "chat" with the editor!! Youtube.com/watch?v=H1MWPE2pqn8
