Anderton rightly getting a bit of stick for his performance when coming on. But according to the commentary, JB was urging him forward to play up the pitch. I understand the reason - press them high, but not sure in a back 4 he is the man for this. He definitely has a role in a 5 as LCB. Or in a 4 as a defensive only LB! Hope Josh can stay injury (and suspension) free cos we are having a nightmare with left sided players

He is barely any better than any non league player in his position, and im probably doing non league football an injustice saying that Pretty harsh, I'd have thought God would be quite a decent centre half at this level.

I think it was Jasper Carrott that said... "When I heard Glenn Hoddle had found God, I thought that must have been one hell of a pass"

Looking back on last night, yes we didn't convert all the opportunities we had, but at least we created them.
Our major problem of recent times (apart from clean sheets) was the ability to create chances and look like we could score a goal.
Between Loft, Collins, Clark etc, I believe we do have the people who can put the ball in the net.
I'm now looking forward to the next set of fixtures and think we can go on some run now.

I thought Leon Clarke was spot on when he said:
"If we can cut out little errors and mistakes and be clinical and ruthless and punish teams [his emphasis], the target we all want to achieve at the end of the season will be manageable."
Collins, Nicholson, Finley and Thomas all had chances that could have been converted last night. I reckon each of them will be itching to put that right in the next game. But it's very encouraging that we are making these chances. On another day it could easily have been 6 or 7.

Collins unlucky with his ‘offside’ goal, looked level at worse. Then again the Clarke goal looked a very tight decision so things may have evened out in the end.
