Evans booked 4 times off of 45 fouls committed Harries booked 9 times, not even in the top 5 offenders and fewer than 20 fouls committed.
Funny old game.

Probably Taylor or Evans or Belshaw. But if we go on a run and threaten the play offs we’re going to need goals and that player may snatch POTY. If, if, if 😉
UTG!

Would have said Taylor for young player award then Belly for player, but the way Hoole is going, he may sneak the YP and Taylor has to them get player. Belly “gashead of the year” 😆 If Evans signs a new contract, he can have all three!

Not sure about the SC Player of the Season event.Good question to ask the SC reps.
I hope that the FC and SC sort something out so that the fans can vote and attend a celebration evening. It would help build the rapport with the players and bar takings would be through the roof.
Personally, I can't see past Belly, Evans and Taylor myself although Harry Anderson probably would run them close if he played in his preferred position all season and Connelly and Elliot have not been here all season. (I know strictly neither has Evans, but you know what I mean).

Finley Coutts also in the running. But Taylor / Belly probably for me. Hoole maybe for young player

Blimey who would have thought it. Rovers prawn sandwich brigade! More like a fish paste roll. Wael will insist on Lasagne

Any of these I think could be justified as player of the year - Taylor, Belly, Evans, Harry Anderson, Finley or Coutts but for me I think I’d give it to Belly …… just… he’s just been so consistent, and gets the club and fans and does so much to interact with the ‘wider’ club . It isn’t just about playing the game to him…
Young player - Taylor, Connolly or Hoole and again I think all 3 would be worthy winners… If Elliot Anderson had been here all season rather than just since Jan 31st, then he too probably would be in their too….
just makes you realise what a decent squad we have this season….

Definitely Belshaw for me.
Absolutely brilliant keeper, considering he was initially signed to be back up to Jaakola he has been a revelation.
Connor Taylor as Young Player, if it wasn't for Belshaw being so good he'd probably be POTY.
Luca Hoole has been superb too, especially since the New Year.

Normally, the candidates for POTS and YPOTS would be pretty evident and clear-cut at this stage.
NOT THIS SEASON.
There are a large number of realistic candidates.
The TEAM has been everything for several months now.
If Paul Coutts and Luca Hoole are not winners it would be a tragedy.
If James Belshaw and James Connolly do not win it would be ridiculous.
If Connor Taylor and Sam Finley do not win it will be a travesty.
If Antony Evans and Elliot Anderson fail to win it will be an injustice.
AND SO ON........AND SO ON........AND SO ON..........
Can it possibly be wrong to forget POTS and YPOTS and award TEAM PLAYER OF THE SEASON awards?
If there are multiple awards then things might not be so divisive.
BRSC awards,
Presidents Club awards,
Young Pirates awards,
Gas Chat Forum awards,
Share Scheme member awards,
Helpline member awards,
Tote End Boys awards,
Presidents awards,
Players player awards,
etc. etc. etc.

Let's hope relationships really are better rather than both sides just playing lip service. I think there is definitely demand for both the executive prawn sandwich event and the SC pie and a pint type event. Like was mentioned, a SC event at the Mem would be a sell out with large bar takings and a good chance for everyday fans to have informal chats/selfies/ drinks (it would be after the season ends) etc with the players. Even with Waels funding, it would be a no brainer for the FC not to turn down the chance to make quite a few grand. Definitely worth people who have Toms details to tell him that a Supporters Award evening should happen. - notice I said supporters award rather than SC - the recent email from the SC was on behalf of various support organisations (Tote End, History, Former Players etc etc), rather than specifically the SC and could be the way forward.

Belshaw by a country mile If not there needs to be a stewards enquiry.
Goal of season Finley v Bradford City
Most improved player of the season Anthony Evans
Most exciting Rovers player of the season Elliot Anderson
Most disappointing player of the season Loft
Fan of the season John Kayes.
Most disappointing result of the season Oldham away
Best loanee of the season Connor Taylor
Biggest shock of the season Joe Barton remaining in charge of a club in league Two making him I think the longest serving manager in the basement division.
Biggest waste of space of the season Ticket master.

Finley's goal good but I reckon at least 5 would beat that Oldham was disappointing but Salford and Colchester were heart-wrenchingly frustrating!

I would say Belshaw has won us the most points this season.
