E mailed Stevenage last night having a bit of a moan as I would have gone if I could have paid on the day. They replied that their decision was purely down to Police advice. It never fails to amaze me that it can be difficult at times to follow your team even in div 2 if you cant always plan ahead. Anyone would think we had Millwall's reputation. Mad how these smaller clubs restrict anyone with a half decent following Sounds like it's Herts Police, I assume Stevenage would take as many Gasheads as they could. Although the ticketing situation is odd, with no sales after mid week!

Different police force, the Met are used to policing many, many games at the same time with huge crowds at Wembley, Twickenham, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal etc 1000 Gasheads is neither here nor there, whereas what else are they used to policing in Stevenage?

Mr. P. Tisdale was announced as the manager of Stevenage on 29th November 2021.
He was one of the unsuccessful nominees for MANAGER OF THE MONTH in January alongside Joseph Barton.
His LEAGUE record to date is: D L L D L W D W D W L D L D.
The 3 victories during January were in Home fixtures in which they scored 8 goals.
In these 14 games they have gained 15 points. They have scored 15 goals and conceded 16.
So far this season the ex-Gas players in the club have the following records:
Chris Lines. Aged 36. Played 17+4. Scored 2. Assists 2.
Ed Upson. Aged 32. Played 4+3. Scored 0. Assists 1.
James Daly. Aged 22. Played 2+8. Scored 0. Assists 0.
Zain Westbrooke. Aged 25. Played 7. Scored 0. Assists 0.
In their most recent match, 0-0 draw at Barrow, Chris Lines and Zain Westbrooke played.
James Daly and Ed Upson were not in the matchday squad.
Let us hope that Stevenage are NOT the first team to do the double over The Gas this season.

Stevenage,Crawley,Sutton,Harrogate,Barrow don't sound like league teams but with Morecambe ,Crewe,Accrington etc in a higher division than us I sometimes find it difficult to adjust!!!!

The club have just tweeted the shops closed tomorrow! It seems odd there's been zero tweets about Stevenage tickets since Tuesday night's victory, as I assumed the club would be doing all they could to sell tickets. oh well, that’s that then. I’ll be watching on iFollow from the comfort of my … er … other home in Norway (or elsewhere outside the uk 😬). Whereabouts in Norway are you? I'm just outside Stavanger and don't get to meet many Gasheads. Have a full cellar of Glazed and Confused by Amundsen Brewery if you're nearby.

You forgot to add Fleetwood And Burton. Not to mention Forest Green and Salford. Would disagree with Barrow though as see them as a proper old football league club and delighted to see them back.

Come on Colyton, Barrow are a good old-fashioned League club one of our rivals for a few seasons in the 60s. The others I grant you... 😉 Did you ever run the line at Holker Street? UTG!
