Well come on guys surely you’re already wishing for Saturday and another 3 points.
Before though Friday night Tranmere play Mansfield which impacts on where we might be placed in the table on Saturday night. Tranmere seem to be slipping a bit whilst Mansfield in the move with 3 games in hand on us. Tranmere in the last 6 games - W1- D1-L4 the win and draw at home whilst Mansfield are unbeaten W3- D3-L0. Think most people believe them and Exeter might well fill the automatic places along with FGR. I’m thinking the best result for us has to be a draw.
Which brings me on to Harrogate. I think they will be very much like Crawley - difficult to beat and no walkover hopefully in front of a big and noisy packed Mem. We won 1-0 there in October with a Nick Anderton goal so have a chance over another double win like Crawley. Their last 6 games read W3-D2-L1 so no pushovers.
We have a momentum and with Colchester at home the game after this has to be the opportunity to secure 6 points to finally establish us in the play off positions albeit on others results.
So Gasheads what do you think.

Their for form is W1 D3 L2 so not quite sure where that is coming from?
Still think they will be tough and not unlike Crawley. But we are home, keep patient and another 3pts incoming

On a different note while looking at the table, will Sutton be effected with a Wembley appearance coming up?

Two more games for Finley to avoid that dreaded 10th yellow card. That might affect the selection for the next two, both at home, putting him on the bench perhaps to be brought on toward the end if needed. If we are serious about a play off place then these two home games have to yield 6 points with a tough trip to Northampton a week on Saturday - the end of the Sat -Tues -Sat sequence that will have seen 13 games played in six weeks (and two hours).

Every game is tough from now on, we just have to turn up with our 'a' game each match and we will get our reward! been to Harrogate a few times ,good people ,very hospitable, Betty's tea rooms ,lovely , hope they enjoy there trip to Bristol,(not the result!) no Betty's but sure they can find a greasy spoon on the Gloucester rd!

Won’t be worrying about anything other than our task Saturday & Tuesday. It’s all we can control. Take care of that and see what happens. I’m confident another two wins and we’ll be in (or very close too) sitting in that third spot. That’ll set up Northampton perfectly

Our star keeper played over 160 games for Harrogate prior to joining us.What a signing he's proved to be.

Will be watching in any bar in South Tenerife I can persuade to put in on, followed up by the England egg chasers.
7-0 Gas, 25-25 draw in the rugby.

Another important game as they all will be until the end of the season if we want to get that third automatic place. I think the top two places will go to Forest Green and Exeter who are probably the best two teams in this division. But third place is open to seven or eight clubs, if we want that spot the next three games are crucial, two home games that we should win and a trip to Northampton who we usually do well against, nine points from the three and third spot could be ours or at least we could draw level with the third placed team.

Tranmere v Manfield, what do we want a draw?
Ps I was going to post this on 'this evenings matches' but I'd hate to be accused of bumping threads

With quite a few reckless knee high lunges and a streaker. And 2 red cards each And food poisoning from some dodgy scouse kebab. As for tomorrow with us, I’m hoping we can turn on some style and really put someone to the sword with some Brazil like play I’ll obviously take a dire 1-0 scrappy win own goal in 90+8 If we are serious contenders we need to win our home games My voice is getting ready for kick off. Can’t wait. UTG

Two average sides so far, nothing to fear on this showing. Both goals tapped in from 3 yards or less, a tight affair between to sides at the top end. Would be happy for it to end this way.
