We have a massive squad, I think with so many games coming thick and fast now it’s going to stretch and test them more than us. Problem is when we don't play our best 11 we usually lose!

A salford-vale draw and a FGR win over Mansfield please. Would rather Salford win, they’ll still be behind us and port vale would miss out on a valuable point A Salford win would keep their good run going and they could well then leapfrog us if they beat us on Good Friday, a Salford loss and they will then be struggling to reach the play offs. A PV win might help us secure a top 7 spot, a Salford win might help us finish above PV/make the top3, not sure what a draw does.

Grant has been superb this season, particularly at left back, but we've coped well without him.
Evan's missed the games against Stevenage, Sutton and Bradford. Arguably 3 of our best performances this season.
Certainly there are players we'd really miss, Taylor, Connolly, Finley, E.Anderson and Collins are probably the hardest to replace, but I think we have a strong squad.
As for tonight's games, as others have said, a FGR win and a draw in the Salford v Port Vale match would be ideal.

Personally I’m only looking up so a PV lost is the best outcome for me, then it’s up to us to take care of our business and beat Salford. Im not worried about them winning one more game before they play us

Agree with the above. This is taking "in our own hands" to the literal extreme if PV & Mansfield lose tonight and we beat Tranmere, PV, Salford and FGR. They will collectively never get a better chance to achieve footballing immortality in their lives. What about Lofty to score in the final victory over Scunthorpe?

FGR win, ideally 1 or 2 nil so Mansfield's GD and Goals scored remain worse than ours and one of their games in hand is used up with them still behind us, albeit on the same points. Salford and PV draw (0-0, with at least one red card each).
It's so tight so a draw keeps Salford 3pts behind, and PV only 1 point ahead having both then used up their game in hand. The 0-0 doesn't add to the goals scored columns which might come into it between us and Salford - the red cards would be a bonus - as would a couple for each in the FG-Mansfield game thinking about it......

Surely nobody seriously wants to see a PV win?
This talk of making the playoffs easier if PV win is nonsense. There's no guarantee PV will make third spot, in which case they will be our playoff rivals and a win for them tonight will suit them just fine.
I'd rather see a team below us gain ground but not catch up than see a team above us pull clear.

Lots of red cards and injuries please (though nothing life-threatening or career ending of course). Will be interesting to see how our rivals all do tonight.

We lost to Oldham, Newport and Carlisle when we couldn't put out a full strength starting 11, having the likes of Jaakola, Harris and Loft on the bench doesn't mean we'll be stronger than other teams as we move towards the end of the season. The main hope is the 15(?) or so players who've regularly played recently stay fit and suspension free.

Was just looking at the match stats after 10 mins and it was showing 80% possession by Mansfield with two shots to FGR's zero shots. FGR must have scored with their first attack!
