Big thank you goes out to Wael, doesn't have to bank roll Rovers but does. What a legend. Especially after some of the comments about him posted on here not that long ago. No doubt about his commitment and I'm sure a Stadium will happen (no matter in what context) with him at the helm.

Which director earned the £114k in 20/21 then? Not bad for a lower league job!

More likely to be Martyn Starnes else the CEO would have been earning more than the commercial director.

Do the auditors insist? It's not up to them. They are an outside organisation with no direct connection to the club. It's up to the club to provide the funds and evidence they will do so, and then the auditors will sign off the accounts on the basis of the club being a going concern. They could also sign off the accounts if we were £100m in debt, so long as they are a fair and true reflection of our finances. The auditors don't choose who funds the club. They just report on who has. i have attached a different example from another clubs accounts. If ours said similar hardly anybody would say anything (although some would probably argue about the ambiguity of where the finance is from) City's for instance say they are funded by PULA and the ultimate owner is Steve Lansdown (so clear where the finance comes from) As I said earlier, I suspect most of ours are copy and paste and haven't been reworked Well that confirms what I said. The auditors are not 'insist(ing) on Hani being the family member to guarantee the club's finances for the next twelve months'. It certainly doesn't work as some kind of odd proof that Hani is secretly pulling the strings in the background.

Unless our auditors are incapable of naming the correct member of the Al-Qadi household then surely it confirms Hani, not Wael, is the person who's still the main man.

Unless our auditors are incapable of naming the correct member of the Al-Qadi household then surely it confirms Hani, not Wael, is the person who's still the main man. No it doesn't. It just means Hani is the man nominated to be the guarantor who signs on behalf of Dwane Sports, just as any director can sign off the accounts before an audit. It doesn't mean Hani or anyone else who signs anything on behalf of a company is personally responsible. It means they've been chosen to do it. The owner of a company (ie Wael in this case) wouldn't necessarily or even commonly sign these things themselves. I'm just trying to point out that Hani's name on a piece of paper isn't the only name who could have signed that bit of paper, and it doesn't mean he's secretly controlling everything, as was suggested or hinted at by another poster.
