Our initial allocation for Rochdale on the 24th Feb was 620. We have since requested and had more tickets, no doubt Rochdale will be keen to give us what we request. Isn’t that similar to FGR though ? We requested only 620 ( as you say) and now I think we’ve sold something like 1300. Win sat and we could take 3,000. It’s unlikely but Rochdale could just say nope , you’ve had enough . Lots of fans leave it late to buy depending on what’s at stake in the match. Pete has confirmed on Twitter earlier this week we can have up to 3,600 for Rochdale.

The difference is, most grounds have a proper away end so filling it does not mean having to displace long standing home fans. You know what ? I reckon we need one of those new stadium thingies ! A what?

A boycott .the club treating us as customers not as fans. Nothing to be positive about yet people are desperate for tickets. Some fans on their high moral perch have just fell off this week.

A symptom of playing at the mem with a small capacity, club trying to gain the maximum revenue from the very limited infrastructure. In a new stadium we'd be getting 13-15k at the moment

We had a "proper" away end but L2 club's fans weren't filling it hence why it's now been made available to home fans? At least get your facts straight before posting your usual anti Rovers nonsense.

I don't understand how this works. If a club requests a certain number of away tickets, I assume they have to pay the home club for them and sell them on to their own fans? Is that right? If so, it's understandable why FGR were cautious about ordering too many, given one man and his dog make up half their normal away following.

The away club receive a 5% commission exclusive of vat for all tickets sold on behalf of the home club.
