I didn't go today, but I've seen loads of pics and vids on Facebook and Twitter of loads of Rovers fans, all round the ground with their mobile phone lights on.
It seems it may of started by someone taking a video, but sort of caught on (mainly due to our sense of humour!), but is this something that may take off going forward.
Someone even suggested on Facebook that we should do a 'Torch for Torquay', if we are, does there need to be a specific time in the match? So everyone does it at once, or just do it randomally?

It was one of the most random, but also most brilliant, bits of fan spontaneity I've seen at a Rovers game.
Was quite surreal tbh.

I first noticed some bloke in the South Stand with a light.
10 minutes later I had my light in the air!

The Gaslights. Could become a thing at night games?

I took my nephew to his first football match today. He loved it, and the lights were a real highlight for him.
A brilliant moment.

by far the best atmosphere I've experienced since jpt 2nd leg against the sh*t. I think torches will catch on & could be something fans do throughout the game! or if we're winning with 10 mins to go. although what worries me is that your always going to get some little twat who ends up using a lazer pen

I took my nephew to his first football match today. He loved it, and the lights were a real highlight for him. A brilliant moment. Yeah, it was a great advert for new / casual / returning fans. I hope more come back. There was clearly more wives/girlfiends/sisters/casuals there yesterday. Cracking atmosphere, thumping win, almost 7,000 Gas, the torchlights, and a toothless oppo. What more can you want I really think this could be the start of a very good end to the season [cue Torquay beating us 3-0!]. More positivity = More crowds = more money = better squad (hopefully- or at least money for cover when injuries/suspensions hit us)
