We all know it will be Peterborough first game. Away. Can remember the first away match in 2020 was at Peterborough 2-2. Before the match Tote End Brian (RIP) told me that Lewis Hogg was going to be the next big thing and to be fair LH did well in that match. Afterwards Brian said to me about how well Mickey Evans and Scott Jones had played. They became a massive waste of money. I think it might have been the match when a Rovers fan ran across the pitch to launch himself into a flying headbutt at the home fans. Anyone remember that?

Yes, I remember meeting flying headbutt guy in a pub beforehand. I think he’d been drinking for about 2 days and had blagged a lift there from some fans he met in a pub that morning (not even sure he was a even a rovers fan). He was a bit of a ‘Begbie from Trainspotting’ type and I remember feeling relieved when he was taken away. Such a random thing to do as it seemed to be a family stand he went for too.

Although never had any affinity for Derby, i feel bad for them and their fans. A lot of history there and a place many of us will never forget

A lot of history there and a place many of us will never forget What a day that was, lots of chants of 'who needs Fabrizio, when we've got Sergio' At the time I think we were the lowest placed team to win away against a team in the top division in the FA cup
