To fit theme ... Reminds me of the Tote End song ...."and if I see a c*ty fan, I'll kick his f ing head in...." But I can't remember to what tune or words before!? Wandering Star. Lee Marvin from Paint your wagon I was born a Rovers fan I was born a Rovers fans. Boots were made for bovver Chains were made to wreck. If I see a City fan I'll breaking his f**king neck. I was born a Rovers fan Or something like that I was born under a tote end bar are the words. Tote end bar wandering star.

Well said plus we should be encouraging every fan who comes, to come more often. I find it hard to swallow when i see posts that belittle those that do not. Some have more on their plate and can only come when able and then there is money too. I drink very little in comparison to what i used to but a day at overs and if i am being careful, normally comes to around £50. If i had a ticket and we gained promotion then the plastic would get a hammering and i would have a 3 day hangover, as i did V Daggers. Please remember tha not all people can afford every game and are governed by the financial responsibilities. Fair points Jools, but that said, but people have had a while to plan for the final game of the season and it should have been a relatively safe bet on our form that we would go into the final weekend with something to play for. I understand that but it’s missing my point of people with financial obligations. Some were ready to borrow money to get a ticket. I will just go onto the glos road and see if anything about, i of not then i will either go back and do something else or hang around until after

I was born under the Tote End bar I was born under the Tote End bar Boots are made for kicking and trains are made to wreck And if I see a *ity fan, I’ll break his f*cking neck Knives were made for stabbing, guns were made to shoot if we see a city fan we’ll all put in the boot ( captains name) is our leader, football is his game if you come to Eastville then you wont go home again trains were made for smashing, cars were made to wreck if we see a city fan we’ll breaking their fecking neck just a couple more. Football violence was so much worse in those days. I remember another song that had the words we don’t carry hammers, we don’t carry lead we just carry hatchets to bury in your head

I think the timing of the release of tickets is a bit of a red herring.
It's not how and when tickets go on sale, it's all about not having a big enough stadium for this match.
I think we could probably have sold 12-13,000 for this one. As it is we are about 3,500 short so inevitably people are going to be disappointed.
And it seems those who feel they deserve a ticket, but chose not to buy one early, are more disappointed than most.
