Sadly Stoke seem keen on Connor Taylor returning to their fold as like the other Bristol team (whose name escapes me,)they have had a non event of a season. Seems they intend to give him an opportunity but you never know. Not sure what the managerial situation is there currently but I know many Stoke fans who reckon he should be given a chance in their first team.Only time will tell. They will almost certainly want him there for pre season then its a case of waiting to see who else they sign. There is still a possibility we could get him back again but we will have to wait until late July at the earliest. So we would need to decide if its worth gambling on waiting or go for someone else early on in pre season. We will have to get two in and cant wait into preseason. Hopefully Connolly joins Anderton and Kilgour. Plus one more league one level CB If Taylor returns, we have great cover and maybe Alfie gets a short loan to league 2 to get him game experience again

Have a feeling Connolly will be back permanently - seems to love it here and others have stated his contract is up at the end of the season - we won't have to pay compo either as Cardiff haven't actually developed him.

Nicho is Scottish so I’m guessing he’s always grumpy. Would love him to sign. Coutts has the option triggered but he doesn’t have to sign Nolan was only short term I’d be surprised if he stays given that he has barely played since Jan - no more Barrett’s please I agree about Nicho. He’s an unsung hero this year in my opinion. Used to being a star man but eclipsed by some amazing talent this season but never stopped running and doing his bit for the team. I’d be happy if he and Thomas stayed as they are good enough for league 1. It’s just that Evans is probably Championship class and Elliot could be anything.

I'm not an expert on the rules, but I'm pretty sure if Cardiff offer him a new contract and he decides he would rather move to Rovers then they will still be due a compensation fee because he is under the age of 24, however I would expect that sum to be fairly minimal due to the time spent at Cardiff and amount of development they have contributed. I have also been informed that when they loaned him out it was with a view to finding himself a more permanent move later on, but they could have changed their minds due to his excellent performances.

With Elliot A I suspect Eddie H would want to look at him in pre-season training before any decisions are made. See what he’s like in and around his current squad. So it might be some time before any decision is made and any club might not have him for pre-season training. Love to have him and going up will have helped but there will be a queue!
UTG!

EFL have to be notified of the retained list by 21st May. I take it the play off finalists get an extension?

Bristol World reporting today that Westbrooke is out of contract this summer. Just wishful thinking from them. He signed a three-year deal when he joined 2 seasons ago.

Football's brutal. The likes of Harries celebrating promotion like mad but likely to be shown the door a week or 2 later, and rightly so.

In sure of it 🤣 obviously not all on him though!

Kilgour starting appearances all competitions. 5 wins, 4 loses, 4 draws.

I know generally we're an ageist lot but anyone fancy Sol Bamba? bet he'd come given he used to live in Cardiff.
i'd obviously take Scott Sinclair and also Ryan Broom - Both would fit our style of play
