We’ve had them a few times at this stage haven’t we? Not awful I suppose, decent chance of progression. Only played them once before at this stage of the League Cup in 2018.
We've played them 4 times including replays in the FA Cup though over the last 7-8 years

04 Sep 2021 Bristol Rovers v Crawley Town W 1-0 League Two 08 Mar 2022 Crawley Town v Bristol Rovers W 1-2 League Two I thought we had played them a few times in the cup. Remember that John-Joe O’toole last minute winner on Crawley’s awful pitch well.

No disrespect to League Two but League One this coming season is looking extremely tasty...... Playing some big guns ie Wednesday, Ipswich, Derby etc Looks a bit more appealing than Northampton or Rochdale or Harrogate! That is some run in at the end of the season:-
15/04/2023 Derby County (H) 18/04/2023 Sheffield Wednesday (H) 22/04/2023 Port Vale (A) 29/04/2023 Peterborough United (A) 06/05/2023 Bolton Wanderers (H)
Hopefully we will already have booked our play off spot by then

Well they all sound a bit intimidating, except Port Vale, but they're in the same league as us for a good reason. They are not the sides they used to be. So we have nothing to fear except fear itself, and I don't think Joey does fear.

It’s my wedding day so a nice away game against somewhere I probably wouldn’t bother with would be good. Accrington, Burton and the like Don't do it mate, come the gas instead, just a different kind of misery 🥰

And to think a few months ago we were worried about Port Vale as a really tough game and hoped we could get a point there.
