What's with the Leadbitter love in, Steve? Sorry but he is just not up to it. At fault for the goal and generally an open door. Trotman is total trash too and anyone who claims he's as good as McChrystal is dreaming. Football fans. We're a funny lot, aren't we?

I've seen every home game and he had by no stretch of the imagination been exceptional.

Trotman has done little to justify his place over McChrystal since his return from his ankle injury. He was particularly poor against Bath & also yesterday.
If he has also got a dodgy knee(s) I do wonder if there are now better options, particularly if he's now going to be out for another lengthy spell?

Earlier in the season, if they'd been selling his genes in the club shop, people would have been queueing up to inject their children.
Now he must go, apparently.

You've got to do more than just head a ball to be a good defender these days. Trotman is woeful with the ball on the deck and he ain't very mobile. I've seen him play about half a dozen times this season.

That's life in football I'm afraid, JJOT was similar during his loan spell and his eventual permanent signing possibly cost us relegation and JW his job. Trotman post injury is a shadow of the former player, or McChrystal has just stepped up a gear or two.

Agree, it's Macca for me at the moment, much more useful and fits in well alongside a resurgent parkes. Trotman has a useful physical presence but has looked off the pace post injury

I think NT and MM are equal at their best. I think Parkes is getter better all the time and I'm glad we've got 3 such players to fill 2 places. When any of them come back from injury, they need a little time to get back to their best. It's only a very short time since all this was being said about MM, when he came back. (Remember the Tranmere disaster.)
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see all those, "We must get Trotman to sign that contract before someone comes in for him" posts back again before too long.
