First time on the coach this weekend for me. Not sure what to expect, hopefully not fully of rowdy younguns as im taking my 7 year old nephew to his first away game, want it to be as sound as possible!!! UTG stewardess walks down the aisle with a belt holster of tequila. Toilet gets blocked once it leaves the mem.its just a party bus there and back Thanks for that mate. Would say Im even more nervous now but that's exactly what I expected. Jokes aside I've been told it's like the old peoples home😉

UTG Supporters club coaches have always been very subdued the times I’ve done it. If anything too subdued. Tend to be lots of old people and the heatings always been on full blast.

Do remember going on the 80s Eagle coaches and it wasn't the most boisterous then so can't imagine it being any more lively now. Main thing is it gets you to the game and thats what makes the day

Went on a Supporters Club coach to Pompey in 1975.
Easter Saturday and got stuffed iirc.
The day before we had Man U at home and drew 1-1.
Might explain the hammering the next day!
And then we had the Sh1te on the Tuesday - quite a tough run of fixtures.

On the coaches when I was in my early teens in the late 80s from memory there were always two women sat at the front. Only person I knew the name of was a guy called pasty.

Used to use the coaches, if there are any slightly lively ones on board, they'll hog the back seat, so not really a problem. Don't forget that your nephew will want to open the sandwiches as soon as the coach pulls out of The Mem car park.

Anyone know if we have sold out this Saturday? I was supposed to be away but can now make it, I can’t seem to get anywhere on line? Any help appreciated!! UTG I was having problems at the weekend getting tickets so I went on the Pompey website and I’ve got my ticket from there. I’ll have to behave myself sitting with the home fans but tbh I’ve not had much to cheer there for a few years now! And after last night.... And there’s a railway strike with SW Trains so no trains! Have to drive. You might find some tickets there. UTG! I have done the same, have to sit on my hands! UTG!

Line-Up for tomorrow:
J Belshaw
L Hoole L Gibson J Connolly L Gordon
P Coutts (c) S Finley
H Anderson A Evans A Collins
J Marquis
That's got to be an 11/11, right?

JB saying he may be tempted by reverting to last season with Collins as a floating 9 and not picking Marquis. Should Coutts start after last week?

He has a point to prove at Fratton Park. Think he will score regardless of the result. He's a proper sh*thouse too, so would love to see him celebrate. I think we will need Couttsy's experience playing them in that kind of form/buzz to get stuck in and slow the game down where necessary.

The Marquis comment might be a ruse but wouldn’t be against a false 9 and pack the midfield for this. Would start Rossiter ahead of Coutts

I just anticipated it being a fair bit busier as the trains are obviously not running. I imagine there will be a service station stop as well, overall looking forward to it!
