Has anyone received their new cards ? Havent seen any receny updates
I moved from the West terrace to Popular Stand seats this year and allthough my card is letting me through the turnstiles, my sons is not working.
They are begrudgingly letting him in, but then we have to explain every week to the stewards at the bottom of the stairs that we actually have seats .
Ive not seen any official updates recently, unless ive missed it ?

I know we all love Tom but there is a pattern of nothing working quite right when he meddles.

My season card from last year did not work on the opening day (like many others), but then we were all assured it should work for the second home game and mine still didn't. I complained via e-mail and Pete Weymouth sent me out a new season card and that has worked fine since then.

I've gone into a bit of a rant previously but TG and the office have dealt with issues professionally IMO. In reality ST holders have a contract with the club. The club has a contract with Ticketmaster. All the club have ever said with issues is 'partners.' We don't know the deal but imagine its cost saving and they just don't publically slate Ticketmaster. We blame the club and they 'discreetly' sort with whoever is liable

What does that mean? Anyone? Referring to David Bright, commercial head. I've had a dealing with him. I had to chase every phone call made and every email sent. We've been there before when our commercial department ignore people who then take their investment to the other side of the city. Hopefully my experience was just a blip.

Oh dear, that doesn't sound very promising. A shame as there had been a great improvement prior to his arrival.

It seems when he is fully on board with an idea, it is brilliant - the Concorde Sponsors event for example, but the bread and butter stuff leaves a lot to be desired. Last Saturday, it didn't need a lot of common sense, that if people are allowed to pay on the day and it is quid a kid, there will be a demand for programmes and chips (I am not in sales, but I believe kids like these?) and some non regular fans will attend. What happens? Programmes sold out at 2.20, no food in the bar after the game as "they didn't have enough stock and were surprised by the attendance" (why? - surely the head of sales must have an idea and should report to other areas). A lady with her son queued up with cash at the turnstile and was then told to get a card and queue up at the ticket office. I am not sure if she bothered. The queues were massive at around 2.30 so I would guess there were a few others in the same boat. It may only be small losses but these minor things could put off new fans so the potential income season by season could be considerable.

I've heard a few rumblings about people not getting responses from him. Anybody seen him in the Fanzone before a game, checking how things are going for us mere mortals? A very different approach to Tom's, it seems.

Had this reply from Pete this morning (He didnt however address the issue that allthough my card lets me in, my sons doesnt, and our cards show we are West Terrace, and weve moved to Popular Seats this season and have no way of proving to Stewards we have allocated seats):-
Thanks for your email,
Just to confirm you will be receiving new cards but unfortunately due to delays with the company that fulfil them I’m afraid The club will communicate an update in due course
All the best

The one negative - everything else positive - with the fan zone is that people will stay there until close to kick off which doesn't help queues. My pint is now there rather than the east stand bar
