Belly is a fabulous keeper .. he hasn’t been helped by a patchwork defence and today he got caught out. One of those things! He still gets my vote every minute of every day. He also made a terrific save to keep it 1-2 . We should get behind him - we owe him that ! We should get behind ALL our players - we owe them that ! 👍🏾

A big shout out for Thomas who I thought had an excellent game at the back today.

Just read Frosty’s ratings. Very positive and makes me feel even better about that performance than after the deserved equaliser (having predicted a pasting for us!). Agree with most comments on here, with the two Gibbos back soon, then we can stop playing people off of position too. Will enjoy my beer and curry tonight now! #UTG

99.9% of the time Belly gets it right, but today he got it wrong, and it is a part of his game that makes you panic. Regardless, still one of our best keepers we have been blessed with 👍 I panic far more when an opposition striker goes clean through on goal. Belshaw has been brave coming off his line so much in the past year and it’s saved us many goals. He could be a coward and play to protect himself by staying in his box, after all keepers rarely get blamed when a striker scores when clean through on goal. I hope he carries on, we benefit far more from his sweeping than it costs us. When errors are made they will naturally look more spectacular but you still only get one goal on the scoresheet. I’m happy to accept one or two errors a season from him. Good result today. I’d have taken it all day long after results/performances in recent weeks. Progress!

![](//storage.proboards.com/5848383/thumbnailer/JFYXMvGHGyvzUzRkXzsi.png) Just back.Great game.Mc Cormick and Evans not good. Finley and Collins great.Wish Clarke had played instead of Evans. P.S. Our free kicks today were all very wasteful.Need improving.Their green haired keeper found our free kicks far too easy.

Much improved today. 2 very avoidable goals to concede which cost us the win. Evans penalty for me was very 50/50, they were both tussling and the striker seemed to be backing in and played for the penalty. May not be given on another day. Belshaw error for the second, no way should be out challenging for the ball there but he has enough credit in the bank and has saved us numerous times doing the exact same thing. I think the 3-4-3 is the formation we will be playing when all players are fit and I think with the players we have it may just work. Best game for Rossiter in a rovers shirt so far, and if he is coming into full fitness now and that is the performances we will be seeing from him on a regular basis then I’m very pleased. Another tough day for Evans today but I don’t see the need for all the negativity he is receiving, he is a class act and we know that. He will come good he has proven that to us. Hopefully that is the first step in the right direction and we can start moving up the table

I did think the same myself. Though I think these 2 will rotate through the central and wide midfield and wide attacking positions

Pity we didn't play them next week. Looks as if their manager is off to Rotherham

Came back from watching the game and massive improvement from AS last week. Plenty of fight and personally I thought we edged it. When you see the highlights, both our goals were very well worked, whereas theirs were both gifted. Having said that, all I got from today was positives & I’m very confident we will finish in the top half. The back four looked solid, with rossiter coming back in & looking good. Loft gets everything out of his ability & collins never stops running. This team will click soon & we will climb the league. Enjoy your evening. Utg

Pity we didn't play them next week. Looks as if their manager is off to Rotherham But if they appoint a replacement quickly they may have the "new manager bounce" factor.

I'm fully behind Belly as without him we'd still be in league 2...
Exeter's second goal did bring back memories of a certain Brian Parkin

Looks like Mccormick and Evans took one for the team today. Mccormick looked after Caprice (who was the instigator of our thrashing last season) and Evans asked to play out of position. Both did OK in my opinion, shame about the silly penalty, but it happens! Two very soft goals to conceed but nothing different from the season so far. But two lovely goals scored, very well worked and executed. Loving the look of Collins, Marquis and loft, how many goals could they get between them!?

Rossiter was very good today. Yes macca had a job to do. Lofty is looking good so lots of positives. Bit feisty in the hospitality seats today. Love it.

But two lovely goals scored, very well worked and executed. Loving the look of Collins, Marquis and loft, how many goals could they get between them!? It was a silly penalty in the sense of “don’t give the referee a decision to make” but their player knew exactly what he was doing. Defenders do place their hands on an attacker shielding the ball or backing into them. Evans should have been more patient as once he tried to reach round and hook the ball he lost balance and fell backwards. The Exeter player made sure he went with him (not dragged down) and the referee went with it. There’s never any consistency with refs. Defenders wrap their arms around attackers at virtually every corner but the refs never give penalties. I’m still angry from last week when Kilgour won a header from a corner and the keeper arrives late and punches him in the head. How the hell does that not get given. A defender kicks a player late and the ref blows - keeper arrives late and punches someone in the face and it’s alright apparently.
