I thought the support and sound levels were, at times, awesome. Bet Brown, his team and the few dozen Fleetwood fans who came wish they had anything like it. Scott brown said in his aftermatch interview that the gas fans were fantastic and frightened his players. Was an unbelievable atmosphere second half. There were a few choruses of ‘when the Gas go marching in ‘ that sounded amazing . When the whole ground sings it in unison it’s pretty Dam good !

Positive for me, the second half. When we take the game to the opposition we look far comfortable and it gets the fans fired up.

Have still scored in every home game this season, bar Accrington!

When we're on it and we attack and play on the front foot our front 3 of Collins, Coburn & Sinclair is arguably the best combination in the Division. More minutes on the pitch and work on the training ground will only improve.
I don't know why, I just have a feeling that this season is going to be similar to last.
Whether its Joey pulling off another master stroke like the Geordie Maradona, or a Luke McCormick suddenly picking up some form
I just have a feeling.
Up The Gas!

So that’s 3 games and probably 5 points lost to games which features dark arts opposition and extremely uncharitable referees.
Aside from the Barton factor, which I’m absolutely convinced exists to some degree, this team, contrary to the natural supposition of “Barton teams” are actually lacking in a bit of streetwise nous and they will learn as they build experience.
It’s extremely deflating to experience what Fleetwood, and the referee, did to us yesterday but we can’t control any of that. We COULD have converted those chances. We had enough.
The pens, Colborns looked a very strong shout. Collins I didn’t see closely enough but to be fair, Azza is not above the odd dive and it’s probably the weakest part of his game because on occasions it can look like soap opera acting. JCH was like a seasoned Shakespearean actor. I swear there was subtext and a plot forming, such was the quality of his drama when he won free kicks.

Negatives for me is Gordon over Clarke (clearly its a personal thing between player and manager) Hoole should be playing at right wingback with Clarke on the other side! We need to utilise sinclairs talents by playing an offensive fullback like Clarke who after the 3 changes away at Derby showed! Evans is rarely in the game these days but LM is just as unreliable to replace him. Imo we need to strengthen at LB and a playmaker type player in January as we are going to make hard work of staying up comfortably otherwise. I thought Gordon was terrific again today especially second half. Funny as I thought he was woeful again. As a left back. Looked much better going forward but Rooney owned him from the first minute and was the weakest link in that back 4.

actually three sides to a coin. the 3rd side you are referring to is infact the edge of the coin as it has no flat side with a face on it. The £2 coin has writing all around the third side .

Port Vale fans say Gibbons best position is left wing back so that could be another solution if we want to play a back three.

You gotta take the positive good second half performance until the 99min . In ok position in the table . As for ref who wants that job no thanks ! Unfortunately you have accepted the referees at This level mostly aren’t very good and you as a team have to accept that and move on

Positives:-
Entertainment on the train provided by a group from Yeovil who were on a Jolly Boys' outing to Bath. They offered to share their alcohol and doughnuts with us - I partook of a lovely jam and cream doughnut.
Paid it forward at Parkway Station, saw a lone lad in a Fleetwood top, offered him to jump in our Uber for a free ride to the ground. Nice to have a chat with an opposition supporter.
Good atmosphere, all parts of the ground seemed to be singing at some points. Sitting towards the South end of the ground, I thought that Fleetwood made a decent amount of noise, considering their small numbers.
At half-time, I don't feel despondent these days, if we're losing - now have faith in JB to sort things, which he did. Good to see Connolly playing 45 minutes.
Aaron Collins - improved so much since things took off for him in the Oxford Cup game. A joy to watch his footwork.
Coburn - keeping his head, even though the opposition seemed determined to rip the shirt from his back.
Sam Finley - playing with passion, and not getting booked.
An enjoyable 2nd half, lots of positives there!
Met up with Fleetwood lad at the bus stop - had a civilised de-brief.
Only had to wait 5 minutes at Parkway for the train home.

Oh sorry I think they are good enough for this league brilliant, not saying they won't be I mean right now but hey ho let just let players go past them all the time and keep them in the team anyway

I honestly don't get this - I can't really criticise us atm. I'm over the moon with how we're performing, growing as a team, and playing with the kind of fighting spirit we surely all dreamed of a few years back. There's only one way we're heading and I honestly haven't checked the distance to the relegation zone in months.

Funny how the full backs are getting a lot of the criticism. Anyone think 4 - 3 -3 is causing the issue?

Yeah fair enough mate, I take your point, I know I was a bit negative I just think that thise two positions we are a little weak but apart from that I am a really happy gashead and can only see us getting better and better under Joey

Only one right wing back in this squad that is quality/can be trusted at both ends of the pitch and that's the Rhino💪🏻
