Watched it on iSwallow and the last thing I remember was Charlton fans calling him a "Scouse Key Ant".
Went to get my Scrumpy Jack at half time and before I knew it we were 2-1 up. And I was born in 1958!!!

We on the up they and are on the slippery slope 😁 Loving my football today after the England usual disappointment. Well done Gas 64 years of hurt no more. UTG!

Joey dispatches another Rovers hoodoo. Special shout out to the 1300 odd gasheads that turned out, with the game likely called off, the train strikes (solidarity!), it being a horrible place to drive to and the fact we have been so bad there. Clap Clap Clap emoji Alan Curbishley (I think) said that there would have been zero atmosphere if the Rovers fans weren't there. Could hear them, loud and proud.

That Charlton performance reminded me of Ben Garners rovers, made lots of chances, wasted lots of chances but once teams suss them out and press high up the pitch, they are in trouble. So glad we have defenders comfortable on the ball now.

A Millwall supporting friend of mine had a bet on the score and goal scorer - quids in!

Well done Joey, well done the boys, well done the supporters.
9th in league one before Xmas.
Got to be proud of the team, on the pitch we are looking the best I have seen, we are competing and playing some nice football.
Hoping boxing day we can continue to impress and mount a serious challenge for a play off spot in the new year.
I don't want to have to say it, but if only off the pitch we were exciting and progressing. 2023 could be the year.
UTG.

JB speaking on Radio Bristol saying that James Connolly was ill hence talking off at half time also mentioned that Jordan Rossiter out for approximately up to 3 months they were worried it was a ACL which would have been 9 months out

Bad news about Rossiter but at least he'll be back for the run in and the play-offs

A fantastic result after a poor first half.
With Marquis deservedly gaining plaudits for his goals, I feel some credit is also due to Luca Hoole. Some good defending and an outlet on the wing going forward too. The change of shape was clearly needed and Sinclair had more of the ball in the more central role that he seemed to play thereafter.
It is not his fault, but I do not feel the wingback role suits Sinclair, just as it did not suit Harry Anderson (albeit, Harry does it better). If we are to persist with a back three, I would rather see Gibbons there, even if it does mean Sinclair sitting out - he would still be a very useful attacking option from the bench.
We have been really unlucky with injuries this season. Not just injuries to players, but the fact that many have been getting injured just as they are finding some form, after being out for a while and coming back into contention.
Regardless, delighted with the result and performance from the first hour onwards.
UTG!

It was always a risk bringing him in but he has been superb. Really need cover in Jan for him, Finley and Coutts

Well that was fecking awful! A few signs the last 10 mins we’re getting back into it. You’ve got to remember that this lot have been Garnerised, get the next goal and I think we’ll go on to win it. Ano collapso from Charlton in the second half. Chin up gas it ain’t over yet. COYB! Clever bugger!

Last two Saturdays not been at our best and +6. Funny how football has a way of even-ing itself out after a few things went against us earlier in the season.
Rossiter a huge miss if it is 3 months.
“Jingle bells 🔔… oh what fun it is to see the rovers win away”
Merry Xmas all, UTG

What a great win, talk about top six by end of the season, we could be in the top six at the start of the new year. With Marquis coming into form, Collins one of the most talented goal scorers in the division along with Coburn, Lofty and Saunders we must have one of the best forward lines in the division. And not to forget Sinclair.

Great second half today …
Well played lads .. Well done travelling Gasheads - you were superb yet again.
Progress on the pitch and there is progress off the pitch too ..: Good people being appointed to key roles backstage- all helps the positive move forward.
