I don't want Rovers to loan LDV. I want us to offer 50k to sign him on. Not a hope in hell they'd sell him for £50k Nobby! He's a talented youngster - they're either going to want to keep him long-term to see how he develops or demand a much bigger fee I'd imagine.

Nah, no place for luxury players in this side if you ask me. Yes Richards had a lot of talent, but only produced on a limited basis. Who knows, maybe he'll find some consistency as he gets older (amazing to think he's only 23) but he's 100% not the sort of player we need at BRFC right now. What annoys me about Rovers supporters is that they never change their label about a player. Richards was a dramatically changed player last season - he worked hard, produced our only bits of flair in attack but unfortunately for him was shunted out in wide positions so didn't score many. He did PUT THE EFFORT in CONSISTENTLY (in home games) and supporters saw it and appreciated it. I thought it was a terrible move for Rovers to let him go to Exeter. I'd love him to come back but Clarke doesn't rate him - he slagged him off in front of us supporters at the Q & A in the summer. Clearly you are proof of your own assertion. You think Richards is/was wonderful despite the evidence most other people have from their own eyes (LJG excepted). I don't want to fall out so please don't take it personally but I'm constantly amazed that you see things so differently from the majority.

He was so brilliant in games and training that it took the goal machine Chris Beardsley to keep him out of the number 9 position. He also kept Clarkson out of the No 9 shirt so I wouldn't read alot into that! I thought Richards was doing OK before we swapped him for Gow (where's he now?) but the fact he doesn't even get a place on the bench at Tranmere now does make you think DC might be right about Richardd, assuming he's not presently injured. Having said that if we can get him back with Tranmere paying half his wages then he'd do a better job than Martin.

Blowing out his ass after 60 mins whenever I saw him. Shrug.

He's not he's hardly figured since Adams was placed in charge and has just been transfer listed!

Didn't I read somewhere that he's been released? So if he comes to a conference team and scores 10 in the rest of the season what will you give me?

Well no he's not actually. He's been transfer listed (unwanted!) by a team just 3 league positions above us!

I did actually rate Clarkson and Richards but Clarkson wasn't fit enough and was played out of position and Richards just looked miserable and was played out of position. In a winning team in their correct positions they would probably y be decent in league 2 but we never really saw that did we.
