You know, every time I move from the sofa my dog thinks something exciting is happening. He jumps up and follows me because he thinks something amazing is about to happen, not that I'm just going for a p!$$ - but usually that's all it is. I swear it's the same with stadium news on this forum. The slightest suggestion that something is happening and people start getting carried away. Anyway, welcome Grant, hope it goes well for you here. Attachment Deleted

Thanks - saved me responding; totally agree and would have been my argument too. If the training ground was still in its early stages I'd agree, but even the remaining phases are surely not exactly THAT exciting now Would Ward find news about a stadium being built long after his contract has expired exciting news? More likely he's excited by JB suggesting Rovers are going to be pushing for promotion to the Championship. Well current contract yes - given we don't operate like Chelsea. Again, promotion to the Championship is very much in relation to "on the pitch" - nothing to do with "off the pitch"

I really hope we actually get to see him. I hope that signing crocked players doesn’t prove Barton’s undoing.
He seems to have a terrible injury record…

We get a better player than we would otherwise. He hopes we can work some magic with our staff and get enough games out of them. Nolan a fail Rossiter and Gibson a partial win Ward who knows

SEVERAL POSITIVE OBSERVATIONS FROM AVFTT FORUM
He was head and shoulders above most L1 midfielders during our promotion season.
Always liked him as a player and seemed to be a well liked member of the squad, if he can stay injury free they've signed themselves a Championship level midfielder imo.
Taken on by Bristol Rovers, good luck to the lad, very unlucky with injuries but when he, was fit decent player.
Ward worked hard and had good skills. He played totally for the team.
LOOKS LIKE A RISK WORTH TAKING.
UTG.
