This could be a VERY NERVOUS afternoon.
We lost 5-1 last week with several new players making their debut for us.
This will be a monkey on some player's backs today.
Some of the newly signed players are both young and inexperienced and consequently burdened more.
They will be trying hard to impress but aware of the "crowd atmosphere".
If the crowd are openly anxious and verbally critical that will drain confidence.
If the Gashead supporters are loud, positive and encouraging the players will play with more freedom.
This is one of those matches where the 12th person can make a real difference.
MK Dons players and staff might be on a Go Slow trajectory for this match, (Shrewsbury and Wycombe will have shown them how.)
Usually, the players have a responsibility to lift the crowd. Perhaps today is the day that the fans take an extra burden on.
UTG.

The MK Dons deadline day signings of Sullay Kaikai, Max Dean, Paris Maghoma and Jonathan Leko should make this a much tougher proposition. Hopefully we can bounce back positively from the woeful Morecambe display. Blimey, I didn't realise Leko was there. If I am thinking of the right player I saw him play 5-6 years ago for WBA? when I went with a mate as a neutral and I thought he was outstanding and was going to be a real star. I suppose a topical reminder that one game doesn't make (or break!) a career.

Looking forward to this one, and think the overall performance is the most important thing today.
I genuinely think our new boys are gonna make a difference when given their chance and time to bed in and get up to speed with what Joey wants from them.
Got a feeling Bogarde could be our new Billy Elliot when he gets into his stride and possibly be a game changer for us second half of the season.
Lots to look forward to, enjoy the game everyone 👍🏾

Still only 23 and on a permanent deal there, if they can get the best out of him he could be a real star at this level.

I’m still strangely optimistic that we can yet finish in or near the playoffs this season. I remember last season about this time we were in a similar position having lost badly to bottom side Oldham who were subsequently relegated. We recovered from that and we all know the rest. I’m hoping Joey has plucked out a few gems from the loan and transfer window and maybe this could be the turning point. UTG

Charlton fans werent very impressed with Leko, but they seem to have decent players underperforming there in recent times. trouble is no attacking player in the opposition XI needs to do much against us to look good

At 23 he still has plenty of time to develop his game.

The last two games were poor but we’ve won three out of our last four at home and 4 out of our last 8 home and away so it’s not like we’re in free fall. There’s loads to play for and we could still go up or down or stay around mid table , the later is most likely but I’m not as pessimistic as many on here yet. UTG
