If sponsors are the issue, I just don't get why we can't make two versions of the famous blue and white....one home sponsor for home matches, one away sponsor for away matches to wear them when colours don't clash!?
It would cost little and help promote our blue and white quarter unique continuity.
Simples!

As much as I love an interesting away kit design, I've really liked this season's and the navy blue from 2019 in recent years, we always tend to do badly in a black or green kit. It seems like we always do better in yellow, 2007, 2016 and 2022 promotion years were either plain yellow or yellow and green. It's boring but maybe the brightness of the kit is easier for players to see each other ?? Probably just coincidence but I'd choose yellow or yellow and green every year!

I would like to see a change away from the quarters for a couple of years. I really like the kit that Brighton and Hove are wearing this season. The quartets are getting a bit bland as you can’t do much with them, and changes over the years have been hit or miss. So let’s try something new. Proud to have been a Gas ‘ead my entire life. Remember my first day at kindergarten but cannot remember a time when I wasn’t in love with the Rovers. In all that time I have never wanted my team to wear anything other than the quarters. Love you Rovers. UTG!

Simples! i am sure that things may have changed now but when the club raffled off sponsorship they discovered that you had to have the same shirt sponsors home and away. As i say , i am sure that the powers that be will have realised that they could make extra income by changing that rule so will have done so

Quarters is Bristol Rovers. I do agree about bright colours being helpful for players to pick out a team-mate. Though Forest Green's High Viz kit isn't helping them much this season. When i started watching the Rovers, we played in solid blue with white trim, that was Bill Didgins side which then went onto become Don Megson promotion winning team, to tier 2. We have a a number of kits that have not been quartered. It could be said that the quarters came back after we got promoted into tier 2, can’t remember exactly but you just have to look at the history, we have had stripes too.

No doubt that the marketing team are already on the ball following the delay in shirts well into the start of this season and have had the designs ratified and new shirts ready to be shipped. Does anyone think we should have quartered away shirts? We used to be unique, then came Wycombe and several clubs have incorporated quarters in recent seasons.Maybe we could have a black arabish design for anniversary seasons? I thought Wycombe actually used quarters before us...? According to this website; we first used quarters in 1931
Whereas on the same website; Wycombe first had quarters in 1929 !!

When we had home and away sponsors the away sponsor was on the blue and white quarters if we used it on our travels

True but their first ever season in the Football League was only 1993/94 so they’re basically one of the new boys😁 Mention the Quarters & 99% of football supporters (or anyone with half a brain cell) comes straight back at you with the Rovers! As a side note & I feel dirty for mentioning, but I’m fairly certain those slags across the River have completely changed their home kit half way through the season🥴Must be another made up anniversary.

Wether it’s a one off🤮or two home shirts in a single season for 50 quid a pop, shot in the eye for those that bought the Arsenal looking thing back in the summer. Would be some meltdown on here if we tried that trick, I know

Or is it because of the big cup game so may give a big sales boost? Hummel's UK distributor went bust, so quite a few clubs haven't be able to get any new kit since before Christmas. City have decided to switch to a new kit supplier, although I believe that the Hummel distributor has been revived.

I’m still reeling from that episode the other year, when the club ran with the pre release Tagline “No Quarter Given” and the hoards of Gasheads on those Facebook fan pages lost their minds convinced we had binned the famous blue & white design🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Some geniuses in our fanbase I tell ya!
