In local levels individual fines go to the GFA and back in the day, Rovers player fines used to go into the players pool to help pay for an end of season holiday and Christmas night out.
What about now?
Finley was really lucky not to get a straight red and then stupidly did a WWF impression when lifting the player up and dumping him on the ground when already on a booking.
Bogarde was constantly holding back players off the ball and warned several times by the ref.
And how many times is Collins going to simulate a foul. Can anyone give the bloke acting lessons cos he is shocking. He deliberately runs into an opponent bounces off him and rolls round in feined agony. No wonder when he does get fouled, we don't get a free kick. Its the boy who cried wolf scenario.
A less lenient ref could have dished out several more cards yesterday.
If they were booked, I assume there is a club fine, but where does the money go?
I would suggest it goes into stadium improvements or the Community Trust rather back in their own pockets.

What's your connection to the Supporters Club & Jim Chappell as you seem to now have the same POV on Rovers?

Older generation view,I guess? I just see things how I see it.
When the players were on similar wages to the working man, then yeah they should get any extras they can.
Now if players are on £1-2k a week basic, and and get free food and end of season holidays from the club, should they get "rewarded" for fines?

I think Aaron Collins see's an opportunity to step into Gareth Bales, slippery boots. With that particular cheat retiring from international football Wales will be looking for a replacement

I wouldn't be surprised if the players' pool is donated to Nick Anderson this season.

I'm still confused how players being fined by the league means they all get to go on holiday lol

If you've that opinion on our own players behaviour yesterday I'd hate to hear what you'd have to say about the Barnsley players.

Fairly sure internal ‘fines’ go towards players nights out/parties etc…for silly trivial things such as lateness, forgetting club tie, not partaking in the pre debut initiation and the like. A fines list is normally stuck to the inside of a changing room door.
OP sounds like there’s a very peculiar axe to grind.

Ridiculous post. I would be very surprised if the players get a fine from the club for a yellow card etc.

All football from grassroots to the Premier League has the same structure, the league concerned manages it's competition and the FA deals with disciplinary. Disciplinary at local level is handled by the County FA. In professional football, the Football League manages that competition, The FA meanwhile deals with disciplinary issues. Fines are paid to the FA. If fines were ever held by clubs and pooled, then that would be a very very long time ago.

Did I hear that some players are buying concession tickets rather than paying full price? Shameful.
