Any of the Brentford players look like they'd be decent loans for us? Their player of the season Ryan Trevitt has recently joined Exeter on loan. 27 goal contributions last season (16 goals, 11 assists) from midfield and netted in the the Premier League Cup final in May to help the B team lift the trophy with a 2-1 win over Blackburn. He sounds superb .... BUT We have been told constantly all the value is at the back of the window - I mean look at that lad McDonald ( who Barton never even saw play) Maybe if our Manager and his Executive Recruitment team were flat out trying to get deals done and not constantly on Twitter - Who Knows? Need some quality in this week before Portugal surely ? - We are being left behind now not just by the big boys but also the bulk standard L1 middle of the road and below outfits!! |

Where is Gibbons? Injury prone too but not heard anything. Josh Grant, Gordon,McCormick,Gibbons and Rossiter all missing today. Any idea how much longer Rossiter will be out for? I don’t think he’s even back in training yet. When fit he was our best midfielder last season. |

Unless Manger mentioned him in yesterday's interview there's been no updates since they returned for pre-season, the only reference online is Bristol Live suggesting in a recent article that he's still in the process of recovering from his knee injury,

I’d happily keep Jed ward and Jones here to fight for a first team place. But even then we need at least 3 players - no9, cover for Rossiter and another centre back

I agree with your minimum three, definitely need those in the building before the season starts. Probably at least two of them would be loans, maybe all three. Anything over that would be a bonus. |

Not a big fan of playing all wingers and 10s then 2 No9s like we’ve done in the last couple of games. Would like to see Collins, Sinclair and Brown with Marquis up front
Thomas was the least productive for me yesterday so would be the one to drop out from the starting 11

I guess this year AM needs a full pre-season as well to get him ready for running the entire show for 3 matches. |

I guess this year AM needs a full pre-season as well to get him ready for running the entire show for 3 matches. Is JB’s ban just a touch line ban where he can still call all the shots or is it a complete stadium ban where he’s not allowed any communication? Unless they hide him in the laundry basket and sneak him in like Mourinho?! |
