Even if conceding in added time always feels worse most of us would have taken a draw before the game, particularly with JB missing, for once I don't think there was one player who didn't perform today.

We'd have lost that last season so I'll take it as a positive even if I am annoyed that we gave up the lead so late on.

Good result and a fair performance. Looked slower to the ball second half but a good start to the new season. Some good performances and lots to be positive about going forward

Shows how far we have come. As Joey said it gives us a marker to show where we are at. Some great football played, encouraging performances. Just a header that not many keepers can do much about, bouncing off the ground and on to the post doesn’t leave much chance to save it. Very impressed with Thomas, looks a different player to two seasons ago. Hard pill to swallow that considering our first half performance. Would’ve taken a point this morning but the manner we got it is disappointing. A better start than we’ve had most seasons. Onwards and upwards.

PV fans will be calling for DC's return at this rate, that's a strange result given Barnsley seemed to be in turmoil (have they even played any pre--season games?) and PV had recruited well this summer. |

Great point , very good performance. I would have taken your arm off for a point as we never do well down here. Feels worse as it’s a late equaliser but I think we played really well and more than held our own against a promotion favourite UTG

A fair result in the end. Always going to be gutting to concede in injury time. We got a point at a ground we always loose at and we normally loose opening games so let’s look at it as a good start.

Lot's of plus points but cant really deny that pompey deserved a point there as they put us under a lot of pressure throughout but i was very pleased with the way the defence handled it. We got a really tough start and points on the board are what matters.
