FWIW I don't think we'll catch Barnet. In the bad patch we were able to close the gap by 1 pt. What matters now is we start scoring goals before the playoffs. Your move Mr. Easter.

A few more teams queuing up behind Barnet only increases the pressure on them!!!

Well no we closed it by 4 points. It's unfair to count today when we didn't have a match to play! Relatively easy fixtures for Barnet and Grimsby today and a very good win for Macclesfield. I think we could've all predicted the results though. Still no need to look behind us, Barnet have Halfax, Woking, Wrexham and Grimsby in their next 4. I can see them slipping up in a few of those.

Macclesfield have the easiest looking fixtures, Grimsby have it hard. Ours are ok relatively speaking. Still all to play for.

There's a surprise. Not even played today yet we were terrible and it's all doom and gloom. Keep the faith my fellow Gas 'eads, we're gonna be champions AND by a country mile. UTG!

still a LOT to play for.
no-one in the top half will be giving up. crazy to suggest it's all over.
we have a lot of 'easy' home games, once we get on a bloody blade of grass. And our away games could define our season.

I neither said nor suggested anything of the sort. I don't believe we'll catch Barnet but I'm certain we'll get a playoff space. Which makes us far from rubbish :3

A few more teams queuing up behind Barnet only increases the pressure on them!!! Pressure was on them today and they won 4-0 against a team with a very good home record against the top sides. Apart from Barnet being at home, Southport's record against anyone is dire! Eight wins all season, 4 against the top 12, 4 against the bottom. Surprised Barnet only scored , more surprised it was only 1-0 at 80 minutes. They finished well but started badly, so maybe we have more in common with them than we think...

What has changed since 3pm yesterday? Did anyone expect barnet to drop points? Considering we had no game yesterday things have gone quite negative. Barnets next 7 games A halifax l H woking d A wrexham w H Grimsby d A Alty w H FGR d A eastleigh l 9 points
Rovers next 7 A dartford w H lincoln w A Grimsby d H alty w H Braintree w A gateshead d H eastleigh w
17 points with a game in hand. Now this is guess work but guessing going with current form. We haven't lost in 24? So shouldn't fear anyone. Barnet starting to drop points regularly against top half teams.
One thing for sure it's going to be close.

No time for negativity from me. Barnet have already lost 7 games. They will crack and we will be there to pick up the pieces. We've only lost 4 games. Our good days are ahead of us. End of February and we will all be smiling. Not fearful me. Absolutely hopeful - more than I've ever been. Annoyingly positive I know - would you expect any less from me?
