Right guys,
Ive been discussing with JTS and he has contacted the club re potential Match Sponsorship.
Unfortunately all match sponsor packages have gone for this season
We do however have the oppurtunity to be Match Ball Sponsors for the Chester game on Good Friday 3rd April (KO 3.00pm)
Whats everyones thoughts on this ? It would be a similar package to Match Sponsors.
Alternatively myself and John discussed being match sponsors for any potential Play off game (Tempting Fate ?) however the club will not accept any advanced bookings for this, so its not a given that we will be able to secure this ?
Or we do the Chester Match Ball and then try and get a play off game if thats where we end up ??
Comments and potential attendess please, however we will need to be quick off the mark if we want to secure the Match Ball package !!

Sorry to come across as negative but I was hoping we would be able to explore something more affordable.
Does the club not have a room that we could use as a meeting point before/after a game for finger buffet or something similar?
Keeping the cost down and making the FFSC meet available to more people should be looked into as well as the Sponsor game/ball stuff.

If it is a match sponsorship,I would prefer to wait until a play-off game.Prefer that than just doing a match ball. Can understand what Hugo means, would be good if something like this can be sourced. Glad to hear JTS is still about!! Hugo, passed over the envelope to Janet tonight at retail panel meeting.

Like Hugo's idea. Would also be up for a playoff sponsorship if available (if we need it/make it)

I know that the hospitality package is a great deal, but to some it is simply unaffordable, especially compared to what a match ticket on its own costs. Remember that some people (students, seniors, under 21s or whatever it is) would normally get a large discount on a match tkt so the difference between full hospitality and a match tkt would be circa £30. NOT a criticism at all. Just something to think about.

Agree with Hugo. I'd like to bring the kids along this time and 4 x £30-£40 is a bloody dear day out. Could we not ask the if the players could pop by post match for a while so the kids can meet them? I know mine would love to see Beardy Mcbeard and MT inparticular.

I invited MT to our local hoedown. he didn't turn up. Apparently he got lost and missed the barn door. and he was supposed to be bringing the banjo! (joke inspired by tbone)

right, it's all gone a bit quiet on here....
after tuesday we will have only 5 home games left so lets get something sorted. i was thinking about buffet before the eastleigh game (march 7th). i think the annexe has been mentioned on here before so i'll pop in and have a word when i'm about on the gloz on thursday. this gives us 3 days to get some numbers up together to gauge popularity....
until then just say if you'd be interested in this, as i'd be preparted to outlay any required deposit....
also i thought we could do a meet somewhere for the televised match v maccs, but obviously a few will travel up, and for some it's along way to come for a game on tv, but maybe a few bristol based who aren't going could meet up....
lets get moving on this....

Sounds good but perhaps something at the Mem if they acommadate us in someway as it's always been about raising money for The Gas. UTG Agree with you ref " always about raising money for the Gas". However can see where Greggs is coming from and with all hospitality taken up for the rest of the season, cannot see where we could have a do at the ground other than the small room behind the supporters bar. Knowing that the club are full for hospitality why not have a meet at the Annex, I would hardly think the likes of a few hundred quid for a buffet at the Annex is hardly going to upset the clubs coffers. Would be good to get a large number of FFSC members at this for a relatively low cost. The problem I see at the present time is that the club are doing well and the FFSC has gone very quiet due to JTS having to take some time out and I applaud Greggs for trying to get this going. Come on Hugo and Parrot, what are your thoughts, lets do this and get something more noticeable up on here before the season passes us by. Would also be a good day to do the draw etc for this seasons shirts etc etc. UTG!

Me and HTY will be there.
I think this is a good opportunity for us to offer something to those of us on a budget.
I don't think the club have a room to offer us so I fully support Gregsgas' idea.
