All this goes to show there are so many points of view,we all have different opinions on everything. The old saying,"you cannot please everyone" comes to mind. Yellow was picked because so many fans liked the yellow 3rd kit. Quarters again, because over the years, many fans have said why we didn't use them on the away kit. There have been plenty of rubbish kits over the years, look at the Tesco bag,and yet many fans liked/bought it. If you don't like any of the three, don't vote and don't buy,its always been the same. There are people that will buy a shirt made of bin liner if it had a Rovers badge on it Of course people will differ on opinions, that is only healthy. My only question is where the apparent research came from

What does everyone think of the standard white away kit from this year? I think it's quite smart but I know a lot of people that want it fired into the Sun. Isn't the blue stripe a bit too much? Without that it would be fine IMO. Bit of Black Arab reference, black, yellow and white going along just about ok, not tooooo busy - then they try to get in blue as well. Four colours? And one that clearly is only there because we're a blue club, but doesn't sit with the others. Has any team ever got away with four colours, apart from Brazil? I like the cartoon btw.Good innit? Everyone should know about this cartoonist; he's called David Squires and he does a weekly strip in the guardian basically ripping the sh** out of the PL and football in general. www.theguardian.com/profile/david-squires

but surely taking your attitude is no better. you are lecturing to grown men. It's like politicians who say you don't have a say if you don;t vote. so what if you don;t like any of them or don;t like the system that THEY have designed, for their own convenience? being given 3 awful designs to choose from is not being 'involved' in my book. On the politics point: I agree, but I think it's important to go to the polling booth and spoil your paper and put it in the box. The number of spoiled papers is recorded and represents some kind of protest. If we just don't vote, it looks like apathy rather than frustration. They like apathy; it's safe for them. Imagine if Spoiled Papers came top of the poll. Quite a statement. Just my opinion of course. EDIT: I'm not sure why I dragged this political opinion into a thread on club shirts. Possibly because I've had a drink. My late-night posts can be unreliable. yes, I concur. which is why I am on my high horse about not being given a choice to say 'I have looked at them, studied them [sober] and used my brain to decide 'none of the above''. I did spoil my ballot paper for the recent(ish) vote for a Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire. I would have liked to do a dirty protest, but was hard in those wooden polling booths, so just wrote 'what a waste of money'. I can't remember the exact figures but the turnout was very low and the percentage of spoilt papers was very high (the total was around 1,000 spoilt! Most elections are just a handful). So i do see your point. If enough people do it, it is a bit of a statement. But still,in my eyes, not radical enough.

Shame, I think number 1 is much better, but none of the 3 are great in my opinion.

Woo hoo! People I don't know voted for a shirt I don't like!
Democracy rules.
Quit moaning, that's what we're getting.
Glad its a big majority though, means more will be happy.

People will moan no matter what shirt was chosen. You can't please everybody. Hats off to the people behind the scenes who came up with the idea. It is nice to see the club involving the fans a bit more.

this kit could be a grower but...... as long as the names and numbers are not white on the reverse! if the back of the shirt stays all yellow it will look much better with black number printing!!!! this annoyed the sh*t out of me when we had the yellow and black quartered shirt before........

I hate errea as our kit manufacturer, real poor quality. Hope we have a change soon, somehow I doubt it thought with some members of our board having vested interests.

"Democracy Rules" That rich coming from a narcissistic lord who drives around in a big chauffeur driven Bentley and who's word is law if your sad enough to watch his tv show. But in reality no one remembers you and your just another rich asshole who because he has money knows better than the plebs below him.
ps I preferred the guy that used to pretend to be The Rock.

If you think that about Lord Sugar(the real one!)you should try watching Donald Trump in the U.S version of the show!! Now that is enough to make you sick!
P.S Thanks for the positive posts on the away shirt.

I'm pleased that the one that most resembled the quarters is easily the most popular.
