Just heard he won't be there to start the match as his leisurely walk after the hotel breakfast has turned into a marathon run to the ground after missing the team bus - - -

The beard began the journey of a hundred miles north with a single step. He also finished it with that step

Gutted Sinclair's return to the team has been so short - Let's hope it isn't too serious.

Terrible for him and us. Hopefully not a disaster given we have done well despite him being out. But really think we could do with him back. Get well soon beard!

Serious knee injury according to our Manager. If that is correct then we have to get some good midfield experience back up in on loan. Mansell is one booking away from a two match ban, Lockyer 2or3 bookings from similar.

And our loan signing Wakefield injured in training at the Mem on Friday morning before the team bus left for Gateshead.

Mansell will be suspended for two matches sooner or later (probably sooner). Not sure what we'll have in central midfield then, Monkhouse and Lockyer?

Mansell will be suspended for two matches sooner or later (probably sooner). Not sure what we'll have in central midfield then, Monkhouse and Lockyer? And possibly Ollie Clarke. Surely another loan signing is imminent, quite sure our Chairman will support our Manager especially considering how close we are to the word we should not be mentioning.

What's the likelihood of keeping dawson for rest of season? I'd hope we can as I think he is great but prob still need another creative midfielder

Don't want to be gloomy, but for DC to call it a serious injury - when he guards against exaggeration so much - sounds to me as if SS has finished his season. Very disappointing for him, as well as for us.
If there is a silver lining, it surely means that he will still be with us for next season.
