MAYbe he has not treated the supporters with contempt, no doubt MAY will provide all the answers and whether there is a hanging or a celebration. If the UWE is built Higgs will have the last laugh and deserve it. For 6 years I have tried to be objective about the Chairman. After the alarm bells started ringing after the first relegation I thought right balance this out with the good he has done for the club. 6 years later it's still impossible to jot down any solid foundations laid down by him. Feel free to point out what I'm missing here but besides countless lies (cheltenham the pinnacle), the banning of people with an alternative opinion, bumbling defensive radio interviews, media black outs, empty promises of a REAL review it's been a struggle to be objective. Please list just three honourable things the chairman has implemented to lay solid foundations for the club to run professionally.

I think the ONE THING that keeps him going is The UWE project, cause lets be bleedin frank here - IF he pulls it off it will literally be the biggest bloody coup in our history, it's his baby, it's his total focus and he knows as we do it will result in being his bleedin Nemesis or as we all hope his Redemption.

Yep, it's like he's eight-nil down, but we're still playing 'next goal wins.'

If the UWE is built Higgs will have the last laugh and deserve it. Problem is it's a big "if" as even if we win the court case is the UWE still viable, where's the missing finance going to come from with apparently no other investors interested? What's happening regarding financing the UWE car park which is part of the plans? If he loses the court case will there even by a team to support? As NH's apparent contempt for both Rovers & Sainsbury's gambled the club's very existence on a successful out come, whilst NH seems bullish about the court case do the other directors even share that view?

How many points does a team have deducted in the Conference if they go into administration? Not that we'll need to worry about that, of course, but I am just curious to know.

My guess would be that IF the UWE build goes ahead there will be people with money who suddenly want to get involved with Bristol Rovers. It will be a very impressive, modern stadium and big egos like to be associated with big projects.

Correct. look at people like Sam Hamman and Peter Ridsdale for evidence of the "wrong people" Plenty more besides them. It needs to be a supporter of Rovers who accepts that their "investment" is more likely to be a "gift" - someone like Pantsdown would be ideal in that regard.
