Gas invasion? Gas invasion. We will hopefully take 1k. It would have been more had it not been on tv. Hopefully a win on Friday will persuade more to make the journey.

Reliably informed Macc's players on only £300 per week and that Chris Lines is on £2000 per week.Macc preparing for Gas invasion but remember parking is an issue so don't assume you'll get near the ground.Even the officials have no car park at this old fashioned set up.Changing rooms very basic.Refereed there many times. Only up the road for me.

The ground is simple to get to by train. Pretty much a straight road all the way, takes about 20 mins from memory. Concerned with the lack of drinking establishments that will be open prior to the game, being a lunchtime kick off.

Travelling from Sheffield by train - hope to find a pub which is open at 11am for a pre match drink - Wetherspoons is a possibilty? Also someone suggested Supporters bar at the club?

Give me the likes of Sinclair on £600 any day. We constantly lose money, season after season. The usual figure banded about is £500k. Money doesn't buy success, and we constantly had one of the biggest budgets in league two. If we are losing £500k a year, reduce the bloody wage bill by £500k. The reduction in the wage bill, and other outlays, will give us a cleaner slate next year. Lets not fall into the same old loss making ways. There is no excuse to be risking our future with attendances bigger than most league one clubs.

Think I am aiming for the earlier train with a Sheff W now adopted Rovers fan in order to get there for a pre-match drink hopefully.

Great result tonight - should encourage more to go to Macc - reliably informed that there are still a lot of tickets available - coyb

Bought mine and a few mates before the game. I think it's essential Gasheads travel In force to support the boys. Would be easy watch from the armchair but with only 6 games remaining 3 home 3 away, the season will be over before we know it !

Totally agree with previous poster - armchair support is not needed but a large travelling support is sure to give the players a lift in this crucial game - COYB

When we played at macclesfield in our first season back in league 2 away fans were allowed in their clubhouse bar in their modern side stand. Really nice in there to be fair. Not sure they'll be so accommodating this time though given we're likely to take around 1000? We only had approx 400 that day.
Was the club shop busy before/after the game last night with people buying tickets for this?
Unfortunately i'm travelling to spain that day so cant make it!
I'll be going to kidderminster the week after though #UTG

Got my Macc tickets after the game - big queue for tickets in there, saw a lot of Kiddie tickets being bought, not so many Macc.
If you're wavering - we REALLY need as many there as possible, this one is even more crucial now. Not just because it's against Macc but because it's the next one!

May be us Gasheads just need to get up early ! it's an easy drive and for those travelling by train the station is really close to the ground
