If you have Android, try the app called "Live Sports TV". It works fine for me, and has BT and Sky Sport channels. They're not actually called that on the list of channels - sometimes just labelled "Live Soccer" or somesuch - but dig around and you'll find them. I have no luck with web links to streaming sites. They always want you to register - cue 3 million junk e-mails - or are so pumped with ads that you can't watch them. Or they infect your PC with a billion malware things.

You didn't write anything when you replied Mate. By the way does anyone know if you happened to have a BT sport login, if you could use it overseas? I presume you can. Doubtful, you can't with Sky Go or iPlayer Do you log in for iplayer? I just watch it. Usually only motd 2.

If you have google chrome just type into Google 'zen mate' its an app which when enables gives you an IP from London.
When you click on a website that may be blocked outside the UK it will trick the website into thinking you are visiting from a London IP address.

As said above, just use a VPN then you can get all things such as iPlayer etc.
For all expats I would also highly recommend getting a UK TV Everywhere box. Up to 82 channels from UK TV. I watch this so never have to bother with the likes of iPlayer etc. Then I use the local TV box for all sports.
Although this doesn’t really answer the question of how we can watch Saturdays game!

I'm not quite sure what that is. But on another football forum I frequent the Android boxes are all the rage. Similar to Raspberry Pi I think. The last time I looked they weren't readily available in my part of the world. Besides I'm waiting till they dig the road up to give us faster broadband. As for the game either what Aghast mentioned earlier or it will be on the link I put earlier.

The best thing about it is that it automatically records every channel for the past week or so which means anything you would normally miss because of the time difference's you can watch the following evening.

To round-up:-
Android devices - Use MOBDRO. It even works on a Kindle HDX. Apple stuff - Use PakIndia HD - App available from the Apple Store. Radio - Get a Sonos speaker. You can get any radio station on the internet. IP address for ex-pats - Use either Expatshield or zen mate. To watch the game on your Puter - BT Sports is available on loads on online sites. Sky not so.

I just looked at Pak India and it doesnt appear to have any of the UK Sport channels anymore, such as Sky Sports or BT Sports.

You have to search for them because they go under names like Sport 1, Sport 2, etc. Expatshield (Hotspot Shield) is available for Apple devices too.

Is anyone going to record the game? My alternate plan whilst I'm away is to be able to watch a recording of the game when I'm back.
I'll definitely need to avoid the forum as you guys like to talk about Rovers stuff don't you.

I'm pretty sure BT Sport can't be used by subscribers abroad. On Ipad you have to enable your location services so there is no hiding your location behind a VPN. Probably the same on a PC. Only way is to use a streaming site such as those previously suggested.

As I've said before I have no trouble watching iplayer on my PC, even though it's supposedly not viewable where I am. miamigas, yes that's the box I was on about. Unfortunately not all expats have them. . Well not yet anyway. Maybe soon.

How does it work with live sporting events? Can you watch many football games live through it? With the local TV box here you can watch every premier league games and many more on Bein sports (formally Al Jazeera). The monthly cost is high and I only use it for sport, I dont watch any other channels as I use my UK TV Everywhere box to use UK TV. I would love to find a much cheaper alternative that offers as much sport as I can watch now.

They all seem to be watching through android.
