Hello, please log the following votes for 3 memberships (mehewmagic, away the gas, and In memory of Vic Bull)
Sorry, I hope this isn;t being too complicated.... but I'd like
1st , 2nd and 4th prizes (i.e. kit ones) - Option D
3rd and 5th prizes (i.e. advertising ones) - Option A
I would love to give any win to a charity but there is a risk that it could be a charity I don't wholly agree with, so better for me to steer clear of that unless we make a decision on exactly which charity now.

Have signed up.
Personally, I would go with C – Charity. I think it would be good publicity for the FFSC and whatever Charity.
Personally would go with St Peter’s Hospice or Children’s Hospice South West. Two charities I don’t think anyone would have issues with

Sorry I can't agree to the charity idea.
FFSC is about supporting our football club not charities. There are 1000's of opportunities to support charities, the club already do this anyway(with collections etc) and many of us do this in our personal lives I'm sure.
I signed up to the FFSC to help support Bristol Rovers (and have some fun)

A Blank shirt or The Gas on it isn't going to support the team better. a Charity to me is a good publicity and marketing thing for the FFSC to a wider audience and for the charity, but any charity would have to be agreed on obviously

.Thank you for your response and votes so far everyone. Great for members to decide. Just to confirm: Mehew Magic is correct, one vote per membership, so if you have 3 memberships representing 3 people you get 3 votes. At this early stage i can tell you "Blank Shirts" has pulled into an early lead. If you haven't voted yet please do, and remember vote however you wish to and democracy will decide. We have received 31 votes so far. Thanks once again to you all for incredible support and generosity.

"A Blank shirt or The Gas on it isn't going to support the team better. " A blank shirt will sale more, guaranteed. Maybe to people who care about that sort of thing. I bet promotion would sell more shirts as well.
I wonder what the difference between the people who would buy it regardless is to those who would only buy it blank.
of course it could be blank and a sh** design yet

not worth getting too het up.
1 - it's just a vote. I know my vote isn't going to 'win' but I'm happy to have my chance to give my vote.
2 - The chances of winning anything are still low. The 'prizes' for the Sponsors Club really are a) financially supporting the club we support, and b) guaranteed hospitality 'freebie' and signed football to use as prizes for the members. TBH that is amazing! We could raise £1,200 and give it to the club and get nada, or raise £1,200, give it to the club, get 10 (?) hospitality places, a signed football, AND a chance of 5 great adverts, of which 2 are quite mega!!

I have heard the club has only sold just over 50 places for the 1883 Sponsors Club so far. With prizes amounting to almost 50% (10 hospitality places/shirt etc) it means the "profit " on sponsorhip is only approx £28k. A few years ago, I believe we were getting deals of around £100k
Every single Gashead can get involved in trying to get their boss, friends, family etc to join the 1883 club, or if you are self employed why not give it a go yourself?.
As we all know the club is not very good at advertising/promoting events and the 1883 club can make a big difference. Just think, if your boss agrees to join, thats over £1000 extra income for the club.
Geoff Dunford got his dad to come along to a game when the Milk Marketing Board, sponsored the Milk Cup in the early 80's. Because of that involvement, Denis brought along the likes of Ron Craig to help save the club. The Board have made no disguise of the need for new blood in the Boardroom, so who knows a simple mention of the 1883 club might lead to some businessperson getting hooked on the club and they could help take the club forward with their skills.
The chance of networking with some of the other companies involved could lead to whole new revenue streams for your boss. If you're a sparky, landscape gardener, accountant or pot washer in a resturant, why not mention it to your boss tomorrow? Get them to give Kerry Price a call on 0117 952 4010 or email kerryprice@bristolrovers.co.uk
If we get to the third round of the FA Cup against one of the big boys next season, the press will have a field day. Just thing of all that extra huge publicity!. For a grand plus VAT it has to be worth it.
If your local, or a charity organisation joined, they could have a raffle of the minumum 11 prizes and look to off set the money that way. Why not mention it wherever you eat or drink before the next home game. YOU could help earn the club over a grand!!
