I got my tickets for Kidderminster today. When I asked how many we had sold I got the reply of "loads we have been very busy today". What's the ticket mumber on your ticket? 01298

I think Alfreton is easier to get to from Grimsby and shorter then Bristol to Kiddy, and anyway we are more sophisticated and no doubt will be in the local tea shope having buttered scones at 4pm, like any civilised person would be doing It's about 10 miles further. I think we'll sell out tbh anyway.

I think even if we had nothing to play for at this stage we'd take more than 2k surely. Short trip and Easter etc. I (like a lot of others) only found out they were on general sale today and will be picking up 6 or 7 tomorrow. very true. HOWEVER, your picture scares the freak out of me everytime I see it! Not my best side I will agree

Grimsby have now sold all 2500 tickets. We have only today released tickets for general sale, but I believe I'm right in saying Grimsby didn't bother with that. They just sold them to all who wanted them.
Most will probably be sold on Friday at the game.

Grimsby have sold 2,200 for alfreton next Monday where as we've only sold 1,000 for kidderminster. Where is everyone?? It's about time Grimsby fans started to go to their home games. They've only managed 3 home games all season with more than 4k fans (Lincoln, Gas, Eastliegh)

To be fair to Grimsby, does anybody think that our home gates and away following would remain at the current level if we were stuck in this league for 5 seasons?

Surely as fans we've proven ourselves on more than enough occasions over the years (including this season) to not feel the need to get into a willy waving contest over away support with Grimsby?
If they're taking 2,500 to Alfreton then fair play to them. Their team is on that kind of run where the fans will feel they're likely to go and win anywhere, so of course they'll travel in numbers to a ground under 2 hours away.
I'm sure we'll take 2,000+ to Kiddy and that will be great too.

Maybe a few have been going away this year due to new ground value but again I'm not convinced it would drop... unless results got worse. Followings are as much to do with results as they are the oppo / lge level.

call me a crazy optimist but I reckon Grimsby have a far harder next 3 games than some people think.
H to gateshead, who are not a bad team. grimsby have poor home record especially against middling teams.
A to Alfreton, who are in a 7 match unbeaten run and just held Barnet at home. They have drawn at home to us, Barnet and FGR. May want revenge for a 7-0 drubbing very early in the season when suffering an awful start to the campaign. H to Wrexham, who may well have a new manager bounce.
TBH, if they win both Easter games they probably deserve to go top. I wager they won't win both though.
